Who are you running at center?

Costs 1AP, but it honestly doesn't matter what position you play your linemen at, but this late in the year or makes sense to have five-wide Vanguards across your entire line, especially if you run the ball.

Ty. I was using Stephenson but sold a little while ago to save the ap. I just ended up buying dierdorf redux earlier. Was thinking about putting him at center because of his lowered weight. That would give me

This feels liek a pretty great setup.  The only way you could really "improve" upon it (which would be minimal upgrade, at best) might be to slide Patrick Paul in at LT, then move Faneca over to his natural position (OG), which should help you save 1AP... assuming Munchak's stack is 1AP, been a while since i ran him, i may be misremembering.  But again, the wouldn't be a significant upgrade, more a way to save an additional 1AP, which isn't even that useful.

I think that's a fantastic O-line.

Ty. I have been worried about the speed of Paul. That's why I have been hesitant to get him. I've heard he is good in passing pro but his speed is a problem in the run game. Are you using him? If so what's your opinion?

Ap is still valuable for me on offense. I feel like I can always add something whether it's route tech or the catching elite abilities.

Yes, his speed is both a boon (in the passing game) but I major disadvantage in run protection. With 99 SPD lineman (in Squads play) I can easily get to the second level and lay down a key block on opposing SUBLBs, which can often be the difference between a ~5 yard gain, versus a house call.

I like to run and pass so maybe I won't get him then. How do all your linemen have 99 speed?

Most don't, only the 49ers players, which I'm not really using, but the difference between Patrick Paul (56?) and the rest of the guys were using in endgame might as well be infinite. Anywhere from 85+ is so much faster. Or maybe it's 99 ACC I notice with those first couple steps off the line, it's difficult for me to translate the numbers to pure gameplay, but it's significant and 8 can feel it whenever I'm blocking in squads. Massive difference. But not giving up bullshit free sacks is worth the tradeoff, IMO.

Just watched it happen to our QB the other evening in squads, his LT clearly dropped back too quickly, which basically allowed William Perry to make one quick move to the inside and he sacked the QB, essentially untouched. I have to assume this happens to everyone. 

However, I'm still using Kyle Long for backup purposes.

So you use him at LT but are still using Kyle long boosts? And it works well still?
