Screw RP

I've played Madden forever, and since they introduced the RP program the costs go up every year. And historically, those RP cards might be starters for you in the next version for a few weeks. There has never been much value. At this year's costs, there is NO value. Just ridiculous. Hardly an effective incentive to buy the new version. 

So I'm concentrating on CFB 26 until the new Madden releases. I have gold 99's at every position in Madden 25, really no more motivation to burn time there. 

They should make RP's very affordable and they should have better useful shelf lives in the next version.

I agree with your SCREW EA sentiments.  Imagine how furious you would be if you had spent an entire game year stocking up coins, working that auction house, investing your hard earned time and money into this bad, broken, buggy ass game... grind your way to glory, only to plunk down ~20M coins on Rookie Premiers, for EA to inevitably delay the launch, which means you'll still need to pony up cash in M26 just to field a somewhat competitive day 1 roster.

F this noise.  I'm trying to not pre-order M26.  They don't deserve our money, not at retail prices.

Yea, totally. There is no incentive to do anything. Just trying to have fun on the football casino, but EA makes it impossible to chill

I am with you.  I have not preordered CFB or Madden thing year.  I may sit out my first Madden since the very first one.  Pretty sick of the pay to play.

New promos are always overpriced.  Let the weekend work it's magic to increase supply and reduce demand.  Just log back in after the weekend and things will have cooled down and sets will likely be less expensive.  Then you can make a better decision about how you want to move forward.

This is indisputable. Not an ounce of creativity in this drop. Hardly a new coat of paint on a very old house.

I remember when there were tons of sets to get RP tokens, 10 tokens per RP player and you got 10 players that all were upgraded through the year based on if they released an upgraded version of that player in a different promo.

Looking back it's crazy anyone had any complaints about that time, given how cheap and shitty this company has gotten

Well I’m having a good time with RP. Didn’t do the sets and probably not going to but some generous soul finally put up LTDs Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers for me to buy. Back to back. Never spent 7 mil coins quicker in my life. These two cards hadn’t sold once since June 18th 👀. But yea, RP itself is just dumb.

It's also ridiculous that they are delayed every year at the start. How? This seems intentional to make them less valuable.

Personally I agree to most of what everyone has said, the cost to do them is pricey, but the way I see is what else are you gonna with your coins ? Unless you plan to continue to play the current madden. I Personally always pick the lineman and and depth position like wr or corner, higher overal  lineman as most know at beginning of game last quite awhile and the wr or cb will slowly move down depth chart. It does save some coin not having to replace them for some time..definitely not what they cost in previous Madden.  Of course this all depends if we actually get them on time, which history says we won't

They always screw the RPs as well to make them worse that elites. First it was no chems, then abilities. There is always something that makes them not worth while.

I can understand people selling off their teams at the end to do these cards cos you might as well, but people putting money in is insane.
