And our only hope for "getting a better game" (you're absolutely correct here, we deserve SO much better for our $100, or more, annually) -- anyhoo, the way we TRY to get a better game is by voting with our wallets. Which means NOT pre-ordering CFB26 (although that ship has sailed) and M26.

And DEFINITELY do not stress about this shit, especially not on Day 1, when the hype machine is in full effect. There is absolutely zero chance we all receive these Rookie Premiers on Day 1. They already missed the mark with CFB26, why would M26 be any different?

In my mind, the goal is to prevent EA from retaining their exclusivity agreement with the league. Nothing else will improve this game, we need to force EA (or the NFL's) hand(s). I'm fully intending to take some time off, or continue trying to find games of Squads with the boys, perhaps i'll scoop M26 during Black Friday sale, or first opportunity to pony up $35, which feels about right in terms of overall value from this bad, broken, buggy ass, inconsistent mess of a game.

After reading the in-game content, doing all my Solo Challenges and then choking in my first House Rules game 0-2, oof... i still came away not fully understanding how many of these we could earn towards M26. And quite frankly, i'm struggling to still care all that much. I'm obviously still here and hope to continue finding games of Squads (in M25) for the next ~couple months, but i will continue to do my best to avoid falling prey to the hype machine.

Unfortunately, that's all EA exists off of, pure hype and speculation -- zero substance. Even their one or two halfway decent ideas (annually) are a miserable failure, because they simply lack the Dev talent (given the Frostbite game engine limitations) to produce a decent, modern, "simulation" fatball title. Uff.

The welcome pack said choose 3x going into 26 and it looks like you are stuck with whatever one you pick in 25 rather than a fantasy pack in 26.

Interesting, that helps explain how/why i missed that -- i didn't receive my Welcome Pack(s) until right before i was logging off. Also, the 99 Redzone Royale set i built only had three players to choose from, no big Trent Williams. Not sure if this was intentional choice, or what.

Your post stresses some kind of urgency to get 3 RPs done, then you acknowledge the content is always delayed anyways (and therefore pointless to stress over).
