How to STOP Faalele?

Agree with everyone having tackle supreme + stonewall. Run Stuffer on the DL helps as well as reinforcement on the linebackers. One of 2 ways I use is with 3-4 under I call DBL safety blitz and then audible to Cover 4. This will set up the safeties to attack the run yet still get back if it is a pass play. Make sure hard flat is set to 0. He also comes down easier if you hit him from the side or behind. If I can move fast enough, I try to pinch the DL while spreading the linebackers. Adding a slant to the DL seems to work slightly better. This works best if they try to do an end run but seems to stop most of the plays up the middle.

The other way that I find works is using Cover 3 6-1 with either the 4 man or 5 man rush. Need hard flat set to 0 and for this would definitely try to pinch the DL and spread the linebackers. However, I often will need to user one of the safeties to come in on the run and plug any gap that develops.

Finally, good to have large cornerbacks for this (e.g., Uche, Blount, Skipper. I also use Starks at CB with reinforcement).

I'm on old gen, but he hasn't been a problem for me (prolly bc angry runs isn't on old gen)

I run a lot of 3-4 odd cover 4 when I see him and I'll manually put my edge rushers outside to make the line wider than natural while still having 7 in the box from bring safeties down.

i run 3-3 odd no i’m not a loop blitzer i stay in cover 4 and if i’m in cover four vs faalele i show blitz, spread dline, and ill bring it mat milano and flacco with collosus but what really works is just mid blitzing

I’ve got either conserve tackle or tackler supreme on all my defensive players. Do that and click the right stick and switch tackling and stripping to conservative. Then run 4-3 Zone Cover 4 lined up in base.

3-4 odd and 5-2

4-4 Split or 3-4 Bear (Seahawks book), subbing in the biggest guys. Cover 3 in 4-4, Cover 4 or Cover 2 in 3-4. Spread the Dline. User the MLB.

Almost all my guys on the dline have run stopper and all the tackling abilities  , my  LBS and Safety's that play LB have either run stopper , reinforcement and or out of my way with most tackling abilities , My CB's   have  out of my way  also you can run your safety's at CB they get more run stopping abilities .

I feel like such a sellout - I got so tired of losing to people playing with him so I bought him again. I have Saquon and Fatty using Spread playbook with Tebow. The first time in a long time I'm 5-0 right now in the event and regularly winning games in H2H. It sucks that you have to use a guy who bounces off tackles to win. I'm really looking forward to next year - wish Rookie Premier would drop already.

Don’t overcommit to the run every time. Use more zone coverage and disguise your blitzes so they can’t predict your moves. Put a linebacker or safety spying the QB to stop the play action. Mix it up and don’t let them control your defense.

I run the Tampa Bay defense's 4-4 set, when you pinch at the line, and are a semi-decent user at linebacker, it easily penetrates and gets through to the heavy set Faalele lineups. They defensive set has two plays: one is a cover 3, and the other is a cover 2. I use the cover 2 for short yardage and goal line, whereas I use the cover 3 in most other instances. Covers the PA beautifully and often infuriates those incompetent enough to call anything outside of those outside zone runs.  With the TB defensive playbook, I still get all the 3-4 and nickel set plays I like for lineups that don't rely on Faalele.

This method got me into Top 100 Ranked this month within a week or two because of its ability to negate the cheesballers' big body schematic. (I stopped after reaching it to let those who also want Krause more room to do so)
