Who is currently CB1? My CBs are Brock bowers, spice Adams, and (still) Anthony Edwards. Lately Edwards has been getting absolutely burned on the outside when I put him in deep blues in cover 3 when there’s no one else to help over the top. I’ve been hearing it’s between Uche, Blount, and Plax but I don’t know the differences that separates each of them from the rest.

I mostly run zone and sometimes man blitzes here and there.

I plan to put the new cb in Edwards’ place to protect those deep bombs and is able to play aggressive (with height)

Any of those 3 will get the job done.

Id go uche or plax over blount but thats just personal preference...they are practically all the same but uche moves the best out of them imo.

Love Uche. Would definitely get him, especially if you have an Eagles TT. Moves really well and is large enough to stop the run. He even presses fairly well.

Based on many comments on this board, I went for Blount instead of Plax (I also like to try avoiding putting Giants or Cowboys on the team if possible). Blount is really good and worth getting as well, but I prefer Uche.

I played with all 3 and for me personally I’ve won multiple superbowls with Dan Skipper at CB1 dude acts like a cheat code computer causes so many fumbles with him and he can get crazy picks being so tall

as for the 3 you listed uche and Blount gets lurk artist where plax doesn’t also uche is supposed to have best stride in the game and Blount is only one aggressive trait

CB1 - Uche

CB2 - Plax

CB3 - Blount

CB4 - Darnell Washington

IMO best lineup you can have

Top corners:

  1. Mel Blount -- still the only high end corner with Play Balls in Air \= Aggressive, which is noticeable immediately after you put him on the field, he'll attack the ball unliek any other DBs
  2. Plaxico Burress
  3. Josh Uche
  4. _____

I don't know that there is a clear "best" CB4 in the game.  I'm still using Spice Adams, as he's able to get the requirements; Avalanche, Enforcer Supreme, Universal Coverage and Out My Way (or Reinforcement would be ideal) and he's still making a TON of plays.  Darnell Washington OOP as an outside corner would also be amazing, but i'm using him at SS.  Love having that NBA sized height as over the top deep safety help.

If you don't have Spice, you could try the freebie Fred Williamson, who also seems quite good (and is free).  Dan Skipper and Eli Manning i guess could also be discussed here, but if you don't have Out My Way (or Reinforcement) you can't really play on my team, being able to defend the run and at least have a chance against all the Vanguard players is essential, IMO.

Here's a video from Chu discussing the top corners (from a ~week ago): https://youtu.be/ycLgpm3nM2M -- i disagree with some of his ordering, but he typically does an excellent job reviewing (and rating) cards and content.  Although he's no Dyl... sadly, I think Dyl is only playing CFB these days.

Best secondary IMO

FS - D Washington

SS - Too Tall

CB1 - Plaxico

CB2 - Blount

CB3 - Uche

CB4 - Khalil Mack

The secret sauce is to run the Steelers Tackle Surge motivator. It boosts all of their awareness and play rec to 96-99. Most of these cards have their awareness at 94. That boost pushing them to the next threshold makes a huge difference.

I think Bowers is great at least for me , never used Spice Adams but Bowers seems to catch anything close to him .

What do I need to do to get that motivator?

You need at least 2 Steelers Theme team surge players for the tackle chemistry motivator if you copy my secondary. They are the 92s that can be upgraded to 99.

Also, TTS MLB Pat Tillman has the tackle surge motivator and all 32 chems.

I’m tripping I thought he was talking about a particular team chemistry like the Cheese Head or whatever. Didn’t realize he was just talking about the Surge chemistries
