What are the bots gonna do if you cannot stick your middle linebackers head up your DTs rear end to trigger pressures?

Seems like the "untarget defender" feature isn't being talked about enough if it works.

This freaks me out cuz there are times where i cant even hand the ball off and the defenders face is in my qbs ass cheeks in less then a 10th of a second!

It’s gonna be super easy to manipulate most people into “untargeting” a LB and then sending said LB on a screaming blitz. This is gonna work both ways.

You are way overestimating the intelligence of this player base, none of these guys relying on youtube blitzes are ever going to do that at the right time and it is going to be very easy to catch them out of position.

My friend, you are overestimating the intelligence of EA thinking that they will have this working as intended.

The concept is great, but I have no faith in EA being able to implement it working as advertised.

If pigs do get wings, it won't matter, because there will be something else broken and manipulated that is found by the masses a few weeks into the game.  Ever since Madden has entered the YouTube generation, there is always some concept (mike scrape, unrecognized DB pressure, inside loops, contain blitzes, this new disengage blitz), that gets found, spread via YT, and then exploited by the masses.  It will happen in 26 as well.  I would bet my house on it.

Until they take a year or two off (they'll never do this), and re-work the game from the ground up, these issues won't change.  They just patch onto legacy code (some of it 20 years old) to get the game out every year to look good in quarterly meetings.

I didn't overestimate anything. lol. I said "if it works".

I agree there are always glitch blitzes and broken plays, but a lot of the worst ones hinged on manipulating the o-line in this way. In the past, even the worst glitches had easy counters if you knew what you were doing.

This one could get really irritating, but if it was solved, would make a lot of our youtube warriors much less efficent.

I agree with you though, because of DDA the game will never work properly even if they did do a good job, and there will always be issues. This is just one feature that could theoretically make life easier vs the scrubs.
