I don't spend time working the auction house because I buy packs if I want something. Call me lazy or I just value my time and have a few bucks to spend. I could look at a card I want and the price won't change so I eventually buy it. Every now and then I get a little lucky. When I pull a card I want to sell, no matter how much the price hasn't moved, the undercutters come out of the woodwork! Just pulled GT DT Osa and it's like the Truman Show with lowering prices. I wish there was trading and I could give the card away to a nms player as an FU to these people!

Ya, we're all paying for it in one way or another. I cannot compete with these unemployed turds... however, time is money! We can either play the game, or we play MUT Menus. There's a not-insignificant portion of the community that spends way more time playing MUT Menus than actual gameplay. Different strokes for different folks, but i'm not here for the MUT Economics side of the house, not trying to be iJoeBruin.
If we're not here to play competitive, H2H fatball, what are we even doing?

Plz elaborate on your Truman Show analogy further, I'm genuinely intrigued.

I couldn't figure this one out.

💯 true. Two years ago I literally played the market day and night. Hardly ever played the actual game and just loved the day trader aspect. This time around complete opposite. I have barely flipped cards and had to spend more money. Honestly can't tell which one was better. I was fantastic at the market but didn't really play Madden. But now I want to play the game and realize how bad I suck and it's not super fun.
The Truman Show analogy. I was reflecting on a scene when Jim Carrey was trying to leave the town he was in and the minute he got in his car all of a sudden there was a traffic jam in front of him. No, I don't think that is actually happening and my post is not meant to be taken seriously. I don't care if I sell the card for 3 million, 2.5 million or anything in between.

lol tbh there could be ea bots controlling user profits, not too far out imo, Godspeed bro
As to the market, I have this tip: Be a little less greedy than the greediest, but aim high when you can afford to, and don't sell on fear unless circumstances compel you to. This year I've set higher prices for many items than I would have in MUT 24, and it's easy to do that when you have an adequate coinstack. I made a little over 400,000 coins selling some weird white elephant Uncommon Strategy Item because I could. Many users will buy an item on a peak, and the next peak may be lower than the last, or it may be higher. Ascertain demand, and price accordingly. You only have to be the best value available at the time the last buyer presents themselves.
If there's one thing I'll do differently in MUT 26, it will be routinely selling my team. In general, I won't log off before I have twenty items on the market (or whatever the operative limit is, or whatever is reasonable if the limit is somehow high). Knowing what I know now, I should have finished this season with a better coinstack than I have now, but I've learned my lessons, and I know what I need to do to get my first million coins in MUT 26. Without points.

Ah, that makes sense. It feels like that sometimes, but it's not being controlled by one entity. Rather, that's normal market dynamics when you have hundreds of thousands of participants in a single market. Sellers and buyers are both motivated by varying degrees of fear and greed, and reading the breadth of the participants is the key to selling on the peak.

I know and agree with you, it seems timing is everthing! In the long run I have no complaints.

Great feedback especially the point about selling off the team makes sense and is something I've learned as well!
