I just played a guy in champions twice in a row. The first game I could not move the ball anything, and I conceited. The second game, lit him up, and he ended up conceding, because I intercepted him so many times and I crushed him moving the ball. So you tell me how that happens without dda

You're describing RNG (Random Number Generator). That can go either way: He rolls 'higher' numbers, or perhaps you do.
DDA (Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment) works only in favor of the player deemed to be disadvantaged on whatever bases may be evaluated.

It was like that for the entire game though. One game...al his way, other game not so much. Either way ...skill seems to be so much less of a victory factor than ever

I find knockouts to be quite impactful, broken tackles after that. But again, the term that applied in this case was RNG. And I agree, when the game speed moves as fast as it does, RNG begins to dominate over player-vs.-player skill. This is also why cheating becomes more prevalent during End Game: It takes no skill to run stretch runs or RPO’s, but a great deal of knowledge, practice, and skill to execute the counters.
