So I love being a part of this community, a lot of solid individuals in here that will always help out. today I want to have a 2 parter.  first what was the first madden you ever played and secondly the funniest reason why you ever had to quit out of a h2h not a rage quit and lets keep it semi pg lol

Ill start. first madden i ever played was 04, i got it on pc for Christmas from my grand parents

to the next one, my oldest son was like 2 to 3 months old and he had a blowout on me lol

John Madden Football, Commodore 64.

My dad and I were playing a football game (not Madden, as we hadn’t purchased it yet) when the Loma Prieta quake hit in 1989 and knocked out the power to our home. (Not really funny, but seemed as chaotic and random as a ‘blowout’.)

Real football outside even better lol, maybe I should change the question to football related lol.

Madden 19 (Madden 20 was out at the time lol)

My dad doesn't like me staying up late so he has it to where my WiFi shuts off at a certain time, it shut off mid game

First madden i played was 16 i got it for christmas. And the funniest or random way i left a h2h game. was my dog ran into the room and layed down next to me with her ball i threw her ball and i hit the wall which sent it flying into the cable turning off my ps4

Edit1: btw if u saw my forum that I made this was the first time i played a h2h game not mut

First madden I played was 04. Also spent countless hours on Madden 07, grinding drills like the coffin corner punts and teaching myself different coverages in practice mode. Kinda helped me prepare myself for high school football in a way. 

I remember playing madden 09 in the summer with my brother and cousins. We would play until the sun came up. Have tournaments with each other and stuff. Loser would have to do 20 push ups or 10 pull ups. Great way to spend quality time with everyone. I miss those days.

same but I have a time limit for 1 hour so right as I win it kicks me

I've been trying for years to recall the very first version of Madden i actually played, but my video game fatball goes back to the Atari 2600 era (never had any fatball games on Commodore64, unfortunately).  OG Tecmo Bowl

I probably spent a ridiculous amount of time on the  8-bit NES version of Play Action Football... which i assume is from around ~1990 era.

I then proceeded to work my entire spring break in the vineyards, so i could afford my first compact disc player, as well as Tecmo Super Bowl for my beloved 16-bit SNES.

EDIT: neglected to address part 2 of yer great thread, but somewhat recently i was overreacting in the typical drama-queen, childish way i tend to behave and managed to flail wildly, while my USB cable was plugged into the (fairly new, mind you, from JAN2025) PS5 Pro... which slammed the console down and managed to knock the outer cover off.  Still works, but goodness i need to tamp down this rage-disorder nonsense.  Holy.

depends, im on xbox so i dont have a set time limit like on PS. i usually could never play during the week and only 5 hours on saturday and sunday. i have a 6 hr time limit on my phone. my wifi would be off from 930-6 on weekdays and 12-8 on weekends
