Does surge convert to coin?

I didn't play the last couple years.  Just wondering if surge converts or should I sell my 97's for the coin now

Last year it didn't...so I can only assume it will be the same...

After last year‘s Theme Team currency’s non-conversion, I have no idea what to expect. It eventually became difficult to upgrade the champions because you couldn’t find the quicksells on the market at good prices in late July.

it should be 25 per because the min for 92's is 13750 and they quicksell for 550 surge. 

13750/550 = 25 coins per surge (or they may do 20 per surge js like they did for sugar rush)
