I see many of you complain about abilities on players and whatnot and say they ruin the game....but for lesser skilled sucky players like myself they level the playing field some...
Believe it or not... everyone that plays the game is not some Madden savant or able to switch and user players well at all...some (like me) are not as capable as much as we try and regardless of how long we've been playing...
I don't run glitch plays or care to watch YouTube or Twitch and I dont have all the best OOP over powered players...I can literally only user my dline or else I would destroy my defense...I understand coverages and what not but that doesn't mean I can execute things well so yes I depend on CPU controlled players to do stuff...
But guess what... actual skilled players blow me out the water each time...I cannot hold a candle to them and I accept it...yes I am a trash player...who cares...Madden actually made it so I can hold my own against some players and when I play against similar skilled players the games are actually fun and competitive...yes we probably throw 100 interceptions but at least it's fair to both of us...I like building a team around my favorite Eagles players and it brings me some enjoyment which is what games are about...
So yeah while I agree the game has a lot of issues...I disagree that it's abilities per se thay ruin the game... it's glitched and bugs and extra gimmicks (7 foot tall players and dline/oline players at skill positions) that impact the fun for me...not necessarily abilities....
EDIT: Oh also this pay to win model sucks as well...I don't spend money outside of the initial purchase for this game and paying actual money for a chance at the latest and greatest players is asinine...
