Just trying to figure out the difference, and if I have avalanche equipped does that add to it?
Gets asked every day
EF Defenders with this ability dont allow broken tackles; cause heavy fatigue penalties; and will clear a ballcarriers progress towards entering the zone when landing a hit-stick.
TS Defenders with this ability have better conservative/dive tackling, are rarely faked out by ballcarrier moves, and cannot be faked out when user-controlled.
ya i can read the abilities... im asking if it helps having one vs the other with avalanche

You basically want both. They're for VERY different circumstances. Tackle Supreme (or Secure Tackler) will help ensure regular, "Conservative" tackles, just wrapping up the ball carrier, which will help prevent things liek Angry Runs, Freight Train, YAC `em Up from breaking that first tackle. Usually. Sometimes. It's basically a requirement to play defense in late May & June Madden.
However, another vital component of defense is also going to be the combination of Avalanche with Enforcer Supreme -- this combo will help ensure "guaranteed" Hit Stick tackles and some fumbles, even against (or especially against) things liek Tank + Truzz. Yes, you can even cause ball carriers with Tank + Truzz to fumble if you are equipped with the correct abilities. It's rare, the result is often just a "guaranteed" tackle (i keep using air quotes, because nothing in EA's world is ever consistent or guaranteed), however, fumbles can and will happen.
