‘Placement and Accuracy’ has been the go to all year. For good reason. You can use stick skills to override imperfect ratings. However, I think if you’re using deadeye abilities, you may be shooting yourself in the foot.
Rather than timing, ‘Placement’ passing goes off of ratings for accuracy. Most of the time that’s a bad thing, but with deadeye abilities, the accuracy stat gets overridden to be ‘perfect’. The timing element no longer adds any benefit and removing it will get rid of all of your bad throws due to timing miscues.
This is just a theory and all of my evidence is anecdotal, but I switched and immediately saw results in gameplay. Turns out my timing sucked and I never realized it. Now I’m getting much better throws.
Obviously do whatever works best for you. I just thought that this was worth sharing. Give it a shot if you’re struggling with accuracy even with abilities.
