I’m struggling to get the time for plays to develop. I try to roll out, but edge rushers come in deep and shed if I try to get around. If I move up, the pocket collapses. Double team, and the closest interior guy comes in free. If anyone sheds, I’m not fast enough to get away. Even with 99 spd, 99 acc, and escape artist.
QB’s move around on me all the time. I know it can be done. What am I missing?
When you roll out, the game is coded so that the edge rusher on whichever side you’re rolling out will disengage from their block. Certainly doesn’t help that every D-Linemen probably has UF/Colossus + a tackling ability and there’s so many tackle animations which suck you in to the other player. I would either look on what’s on your O-Line/D-Line (make sure they have Secure Pro on Offense/a good rushing ability on defense). If that doesn’t work, then it might be a case of EA’s stupid code.

against 4 man fronts double team the End and full slide your line to the side you want to roll out too.
against 3 man fronts, double the end and half slide to the side you want to roll out too.

Yeah, this is really simple. Probably should have caught it. I’ve been doing half slides on both which is probably why the interior lineman is getting free. Thanks.
