You are wrong, here is Ed Jones with only universal coverage lighting up at the cut showing One step ahead is in fact in universal coverage.

I’ve argued with many people on here about this. I first tested it myself 3 years ago and have gotten the same results ever since. Universal Coverage lights up on receiver cuts before the ball is even thrown, there aren’t any KO’s that light up while the QB still has the ball.

It’s like people don’t believe that UC has OSA because it isn’t completely locking down the receiver. The fact is that certain routes cook man coverage no matter what abilities the db has. It’s  been that way for at least the last 3 years. This year man coverage has been even worse than the last 2 years.

It does include OSA it’s just a weaker variant of OSA compared to shutdown, but it definitely does have it. I used to believe it didn’t have it either till I saw specific reactions to route cuts when Ive played man coverage also really helps if you correctly shade inside/out.

Thank you to @SlowAndSteady & @Josh121 for bringing receipts... ridiculous that we're still trying to define abilities, but goodness gracious it's wild what people will believe.  This guy pushing back is essentially the flat earther of the Madden community.  Got himself so twisted in knots, he's not sure which way is up at this point.  Sadly, it appears to be a common theme, dude constantly pushing back on all manner of, uhhh, as he terms it "fake news" heh.  Can't make this shit.
