What’s the consensus on hurts, almost every video on my fyp that has anything to do with comparing teams, players, etc. you got guys saying hurts is that guy and others saying he’s carried by his roster or his stats are terrible compared to the roster he has. In my opinion and as an eagles fan I’m telling you right now, HURTS IS THAT GUY whether you wanna admit it or not. All he does is win. “Oh but he’s never thrown for 4k yards”, in his MVP season when the eagles were more of a pass heavy offense he finished with 3700 while missing 2 games, had he played he would’ve hit the 4k mark (and probably won MVP). “He’s carried by his roster”, first off it’s his fault he has a good team building/maintaining GM? Second, eagles don’t win that Super Bowl without hurts. Saquon didn’t do anything the whole game. As for the defense he has nothing to do with it, how good/bad they play doesn’t mean really anything considering if they play bad and lose games Hurts is gonna get the heat for it and if they play well and they win games hurts isn’t gonna get credit for anything no matter how he plays. What’s y’all’s opinions, I’m just tired of people still not giving him his proper credits after he’s really answered every single question brought to him. After his rookie year y’all questioned if he was truly a good enough passer or not, he proved he is the very next year in 2022. Then y’all asked if he could lead a team through adversity after the 2023 season and he did just that by bringing us back to the bowl. Then y’all asked if he could perform under the biggest lights and actually win and he did just that. What more does he need to do.

When he needs to play safe and not turn the ball over he does exactly that. His legs are always a threat. When he needs to make clutch plays he makes them. When he needs to absolutely ball out and go insane he does it. Two Super Bowls, both outplaying Mahomes. People complain about his regular season passing but he’s led the Eagles to the playoffs every season except his rookie year where he didn’t even play all the games. He plays smart and avoids turnovers. The guy is a leader who knows how to win and always steps up to the occasion.
