New House Rules is MISERABLE

And I mean miserable.  Yeah, week 1 was sweaty, but this is time consuming and you’re forced into 20+ minute games.  At least in week 1, a lot of people quit when you score early, but the try hards are in full effect on this one.  No one quits.

Even if they don't quit it was faster for me this go.   Score,  int, score, most games were done in 5 min

That's almost exactly how my first game went: score, pick, score... 21-0, the game was mine.

Second game i faced some brain-dead twat running QB Power with Drake Maye throughout both quarters.  I got cute and went for it on 4th and goal from well inside the one and i got stuffed... then the dude managed to drive down the field and score with 0:07 remaining AND somehow got in on the two point conversion, despite me shooting the gap and hitting him in the backfield, only to fall forward and CHOKE, i lost.  9-8.  Fuck my life.

It's nothing shy of a miracle i didn't break a controller in a fit of rage-disorder after receiving a "too easy" message on EA cross-platform stuff.  I'm the absolute worst player ever.

I vastly prefer this game mode, we can actually kick PATs.  Don't encourage these fools, most Madden kiddies go for it on 4th down, no matter what... ain't nobody got time for special teams, or so it seems.  Oof.  And i enjoy being rewarded for playing good defense.  3 points for a pick seems reasonable.

0 complaints from me on this go round. Last week made me want to rip out my already balding hair. This week has been way more easier for me. Now the peeps running the same fat ass have to score to where last week they would fall forward every time for 2 points and milk the clock. I've gone 5-0 3x now with 1 flawless run. Last week my best was 5-0 2x and after that got spanked every match by Daniel fat jerk.

I thought I was doing bad last week. I’m doing worse now.. can’t get 6-0 run. 

Can we stop with only rewarding elite players?

LMAO. This game out of all multiplayer games I play pisses me off by far the most. I don't know why. I can play shooters and mobas and get smoked no problem. But this game gets me so heated in h2h. Probably big reason I don't play a ton.

I'm actually SHOCKED I went 6-0 first try! Then two more before I took my first L. This morning though, different story... Lost 5 in a row... W T F!!!!!!

Just hit 6-0.  Started 3-0 Thursday night, came back and finished the last 3 in less than 10 minutes.  Much different experience than the first night.  It just seems luck of the draw whether they put you in the asshole bracket, or load you into games with people who either quit as soon as you score or just aren’t very good and the game ends quickly after they throw a pick.

Might also be karma because I was on my first game the other night and a guy said he was on his 6th game and to please give it to him so he could get off and go to bed.  I got in the mic and said, “you got it, bro.”  And I quit out.  Felt good.

Probably because a digital fragging is quick and final, while death by a thousand RPO's while knowing quitting early just gives the miscreant exactly what they want is a repeated choice between the lesser of two great evils.

I rarely play H2H but decided to try out the surge House Rules. Every play I'm getting blitzed from the edge and sacked as soon as the ball is snapped. Especially on play action I'm getting sacked instantly while still doing the PA animation. Is this some nano blitz?

This is what happens when most of the defensive line and edge rushers (if not all) have 99 SPD, and the blocking AI just isn't intelligent enough to move the tackles out enough to stop the obvious edge rush. It doesn't help when the defensive user deliberately places their user in such a position so as to glitch out the interior linemen's blocking logic.

You'll want to leave a runningback in to block if they're going for quick pressures of the type you're describing. Also, users who play that way will generally try to equip their cornerbacks with abilities that help them undercut your quick-outs for pick-sixes. It's tough sledding trying to get up to speed if you haven't been playing through this nonsense already for the last several months. I just barely eked out a win against a guy who did this nonsense.
