With 500k, you have a wide range of what you can target. You need to filter out and learn price ranges for certain ovr. Do the math to know what you should buy at so you can make profit while accounting for the 10% tax.
Your best bet is to target the ovr of packs in the store that you think look solid as more will buy those and flood the market which lasts to more opportunities for you to buy low and sell high.
@banana76890 this is all fantastic advice, the only other thing you're missing is the time investment required to continually make profit. Most folks spend the ENTIRE year building sets for profit, sniping random cards, LTDs, etc. on the auction block in order to fund our roster(s). Get familiar with the various filters. If you're seeing 95+ (or 99) cards total, then you need to get more specific with your filters, because the max limit that EA can draw on the screen for any given auction i believe is 99 cards. If you're seeing 99, you're potentially missing out on the lowest priced auctions. A lot of guys prefer to use the "NEWEST" cards posted as preferred sort order, to ensure they're seeing cards as soon as they're available.
PLEASE be advised that there is some built in timer/delays or variance when new cards are posted. You will regularly see cards listed here, on the great and mighty MUTgg site that will not yet appear in your actual in-game menus or filters. It can take anywhere from sixty seconds to upwards of ~5 minutes before you are able to see these newly listed cards and there's really no rhyme or reason about who/what/when will be able to see the latest and greatest sniping opportunities.
Use the Prices Dashboard on this site, not only to track (five on free tier, more, ~100 i think on premier) cards you are interested in following closely, but also to determine what prices are good value, which sets are potentially profitable, etc. Once you've invested sufficient time playing MUT Menus, you'll begin to recognize patterns and market trends that are often cyclical, throughout the week.
At the end of the day, we're all paying for it one way or another. There are many, many folks who play more MUT Menus than actual gameplay. It requires a fairly significant time investment, there is no get rich quick scheme anywhere.
Heed this warning, to good of snipes ea bans. I had a decent snipe on a josh sweat LTD a while back and got wiped and lost my auction house
so the best filter for sniping is newest right?

I only have 500k coins and everyone else has much more, how do you make coins
Win games especially when rewards are good. Got Calvin early in the year and been good on coins ever since
I just buy cards and then sell the position on my team that I upgraded

if you snipe/buy, and flip - Heavy) about 500,000 to a Mil a day. - Light) 250,000 to 500k, on average. But you gotta use the companion app!!!!!!! to be efficient!!!!!!!!

‘Newest’ isn’t a filter. It’s a sort. You can filter by type, quality, program, team, or chemistry. The specific filter or filters you use don’t matter. You just want to make sure they target the card or cards you’re looking for and that the number of cards is less than 90.
Keep in mind that new cards aren’t automatically added in. To ‘refresh’ go into an auction and back out. There are other ways too but that seems to be the best/quickest for me.
You’re gonna be bad at it at first. You’re gonna lose coins sometimes. You’re gonna buy the wrong cards sometimes. You’re gonna try to flip cards and the value tanks before they sell. It’s all part of the game. Keep grinding and keep learning.
Getting from 500k coins to 1m coins is almost as hard as getting from 1m to 2m, or from 2m to 5m. You can build profitable sets while looking for items that you can immediately repost to auction for a profit sometime during the next 24 hours. If you're keeping 15-20 items on auction at saleable prices during both the times you're online and the rest of the time as well, you can make coins. But it's a grind.
I feel like All-Star Athletes was my best money-maker of the year, but I haven't looked at it for a couple of weeks now.
