What is the best x-factor (i.e. Universal Coverage, Shutdown, Bottleneck, Avalanche, Reinforcement, etc.) stack for a CB/S? Preferably for a man coverage defensive scheme.
IMO pretty much this card

Defense has been difficult all year, but the combination of Universal Coverage (to ensure knockouts and "sticky" coverage in both Man and Zone) as well as Avalanche is my preferred combo. Don't forget to stack Enforcer Supreme on top for good measure, as the combo of Avalanche + ES is the only thing that gives us a chance against all the Tank + Truzz combos out there.
HOWEVER, due to the fact that people are toting the rock an awful lot lately, especially with piles of Vanguard cheese heaped on top, having Reinforcement on our players (and DBs) will hopefully give us a chance against those Vanguard players. I guess my point is, it depends what you're trying to defend against. Personally, i am of the opinion that it's a passing league, so i'm using the above stack, but my Linebackers DEF all have Reinforcement, so i'll often play 3-4 or 4-3 (Even 6-1) heavier type formations for run defense. But the ole tried and true Cover 4 Drop is quite good at run defense, as long as you have both Safeties walked down into the box, they should fill their run fits as first order of business.
