I have a colts TT, but don’t understand Luck’s Omaha ability

I am thinking of switching from Peyton to Luck, but I’m kinda curious about all the hoopla. 

Truth be told I kinda suck at the game and don’t even know to to use Omaha to my advantage lol. Are there any kind people out there that wouldn’t mind helping me understand what makes this ability so elite and what I can do to maximize it to my advantage?

I’ve played against Luck a couple times and feel like I’ve never been picked apart with him, and I would love to not suck at the game lol.

Yeah if you wanna actually get better at the game don't use it.    That being said to answer your question it will show you the defenses formation pre snap

You use it to your advantage because based on there coverage there's specific beaters to it. If there in cover 3 run verts and hit the seams. Its also really nice if they split man and zone so that way you can see those adjustments. Truthfully I think it's over hyped because it's not hard to read a defense normLly and especially now with everyone spamming either mid blitz or loop blitz

Does he give you an advantage, yes. Knowledge is power.

Is it cheese, yes.

Saying all that… you still have to know how to attack the defense you’re playing. If you can’t do that then it won’t stop you from screaming at the game.

If you learn how to beat different coverages Omaha can help you set up route combinations before you snap the ball because you will see the coverage. I don’t think you see linebackers responsibilities but I haven’t used it personally, I’ve only seen it from an offensive perspective from videos so I may be incorrect. It’s important not to just stick to your initial read, however, and I think that messes up a lot of Omaha players. I’ve beat plenty of people who use Omaha through the use of switch sticking and presnap adjustments. I don’t use Omaha and never will, but it definitely can make the game easier if you don’t solely rely on it.

I haven’t used Luck this year, but I’d argue his ability would make you a much better player long term. 

You can literally sit and watch the meta setups. If you pay attention, you’ll likely know exactly what’s coming from a defensive look once you move on from Omaha.
