Best CBs?

So there are a ton of options at this point, and so many guys with free xfactor abilities, my latest upgrades seem to be looking at CBs... currently im rocking ant edwards at CB1 with the uni cov and one step ahead. seems to play well, and definitely can play the run! we want great tackling and blockshed if possible at this point! Im very into the "release theory", we dont want any guys with very high release. i think ant is at 40, so his man stickiness could be better im guessing.

At CB2 we have anthony adams. This dudes a stud, for sure gotta be one of the best and a MUST use card.

CB3 im rocking the champ level reward zyon mccollum. Like him so far, paying the 2ap uni coverage on him and then other tackling abilities (even though he isnt the best for tackling). dont mind spending AP on all 3 cbs to get uni cov, def is important and i have the AP, ant edwards is my slot CB as well, not mccollum. 

I then run the tribute 97 Pat pete with dual chems, and run him at cb4 with all those knockouts and one step ahead, and i also throw him at SS2 for dime situations to come out.

If you use a lot of man, I can see the concerns about release ratings and if so the best corners to pick up are either Mean Joe Greene with around 15 release, and if more on a budget I would get devon witherspoon and he has around 10 release with somewhat worse abilities

Yeah just put universal on one bucket and you have a whole x factor bucket to match your scheme (e.g bottleneck if you run man etc.) and he matches any TT i think it’s a must have card at the moment.

I got lucky and pulled MJG. Wasn't sure if I was going to keep him but he has been a pick machine for me in Showdown and has been the stickiest CB I got. Saved my ass many times on crossers and flats merchants to get my flawless. CB1 for me now. Really interested in Uche but waiting for his price to drop.

So Mean Joe or Bowers in the slot?

Uche and Plax are S right now with the 3 best CB xfactors. The next two depend on if you want UC and avalanche or UC and bottleneck.

That's where I'm running Uche (and prior to that Mean Joe).... been lights out for me and helped me string together a number of flawless runs in House Rules. Alt at SS and Too Tall at FS, however, have been the MVPs on my squad in this cesspool of a mode.
