I'm not gonna stop until rp comes out but I've definitely began to slow down and not care about the game.

I really started to slow down when I made im basically done with madden 25
Only have spent 10$ since Christmas which was the 10$ for 4600 point deal
Other then the draft event I haven’t touched normal H2H in about a month, sold my team about a month ago, and have 16 mil ready for RP
This game is just getting too far out of hand, and I feel like I gotta keep grinding to compete, so I just felt like it was the right time to hang it up
Praying madden 26 is better because it can’t be worse… right?
Madden 26 can be worse.
Easily....

Might be done with Madden in general, this is a slowly decaying franchise with an incredibly salty fan base/ player base.
I've played a couple games last night where kids are playing almost as if their lives are on the line or something, it's so fucking pathetic.
Outside of updating the Cowboys TT when a new players or players drop, like yesterday with TT Surge, I haven't really felt the need to play.
I haven't enjoyed the gameplay much this year in general so I've found it hard with the imbalance of one second winning and the next losing a ton. I don't care too much cause I'll never be in depth, know offense and defensive schemes, but even I know enough to feel like I can play, but having the game randomly helping or hurting you hasn't been fun.
I've enjoyed CUT more just cause of gameplay. I wish some of the fun aspects in previous Maddens would return cause whether you spent money/didn't, played or just worked the AH, there was a variety. Now it's if this card doesn't get this ability, or not this height , or weight, the card sucks.
I'll always play Madden, cause I love football, but as the years go on, the game has gotten less enjoyable from a casual standpoint. Ultimate Team is basically a daily chore now. I get home from work, pour a drink, do dailies and get off. Maybe a solo season game if I'm close to a level reward.
Good thing is I have other games I either need to finish or other's I can replay. Gonna wait to see if RP is even worth doing and if not, gonna sell my team and then be done until 26, cause I know I'll never touch 25 again.
I was about to sell my team until RP because I felt like there was nothing to play for (they really need to fix the structure of Ranked and Champions next year), but this promo sucked me back in.
The cards are absurd and fun, and grinding the Head to Head event actually makes building a good team worth it.

I've got kids bro. They come first
Unpopular opinion but I love MUT. I love building teams that best match my play style. I love trying to figure out the game and coming up with unique route combos and strategies. I love finding obscure cards that play out of their mind. I love OOP cards. It’s fun putting DK and Plax at safety and watching them pick deep balls out of the sky.
I don’t like losing. I don’t like feeling like there is nothing I could have done. Levels/crossers combo concept that attacks both sidelines is the bane of my existence. That said, once the game is over I don’t care anymore. So what? I’m not a pro. Even if I’m a better player than the person who beats me. Even if they spam the same thing. Even if they “glitch”. I just really don’t care once the game is over.
I think people forget this is just a video game. They take themselves too seriously and forget that not everything is winning and losing. They forget how to just mess around and have fun.
I'm done with madden 25 and not playing 26 either. 99 ovr team with top tier players and consistently getting beat in the last min to a double pass or another BS spam play

I totally agree and love the team building aspect but not to just go out and get beat by some BS spam play or double pass. That's not FUN
waiting until madden 26 in december the game ain't worth playing in the beginning but college football is and honestly i hope the team building aspect of college was better they had some stuff cooking but went away from it.
I’m playing waiting for rps but playing is becoming stale rn all everyone does is just run the same blitz plays and the random avalanche fumbles that never happen when I do them.

If you prefer CUT why not just switch to that in 26?
