Bravo, sir!  You are without a doubt making the correct choice.  This is going to continue to get worse before it gets any better.  Unless/until the league opens up their exclusive licening agreement with EA Orlando / Tiburon, there's really not much that can or will ever improve.  EA has basically shifted the entire Madden and CFB stuff into maintenance mode.  Almost zero new features each and every year, the same tired, recycled cards and content (often times literally the exact same cards, for the past ~2-3 years, or so... albeit with "Vintage" or From the Vault slapped on top).

Big John must be rolling in his grave.  This once great and storied franchise has become a shell of its former self.  Although, i'm sure John's kids are content to keep cashing those checks, they're not about to upset the applecart.

Can't hate you for not wanting to play this pay to win slop.  This is an objectively not good game.  Truly a buggy, inconsistent, mess of a game and the company is beyond lazy.  They quite frankly could not give a flying fuck about simulation fatball, they are not a serious video game company.
