If it's similar to theme team remix...

Cards will get motivator chems that boost up players on that respective theme team.

Similar to the Reggie White and Career tribute cards

Basically increasing the stats of older cards to allow all theme teams to compete on an equal playing field - stat wise

Older cards won't be getting new ability buckets or discounts, but only stat increase

The surge players will be solid and will help theme teams... but at this stage, abilities matter more. Boosting a WR on your favorite team from december doesn't do much when WR now a days get all these backed on abilities and discounts.

I plan just to snag linemen (if they get vanguard) and backups with avalanche (for some cheese on kickoffs)

I have a 53/50 eagles theme team... less than 5 actually start and play.

Thank you. I noticed a lot of the same cards that we already have. Like lolb Hendricks, SS Tillman etc. Are the new cards just upgraded versions of the old ones? Like is Lolb Hendricks ASA getting upgraded and Tillman and so on?

Wait, what -- no, these are the leaked cards that will be released during Theme Team Surge promo.  This great site will have a full write-up in the News section once the content drops.  You're simply seeing an early peak, cards that have yet to be released.

Yes. I guess I'm just being stupid and wording it wrong. It's just a shit ton of new cards? Nothing special correct?

Basically wondering if a big market collapse is coming?
