Question about Madden recommendation in lineup

I create a second team under the change active lineup tab and it's always what the Madden recommendation is to see what that looks like compared to what I've put together. My question is regarding the stats the computer uses to create it's recommendation. Is it just OVR (top right card corner) alone? Sometimes it seems that way but then it will put in certain cards that don't have as high as OVR or put one OOP which lowers it. I probably refresh the MadRec lineup at I call it one a month or so and sometimes it's a really good team just left alone. Most often though it needs tweaking.
