Hi guys! I put up a post a while ago asking for suggestions for developing an offensive scheme. Well, I finally found it. Strong Slot formation in Raiders playbook has worked tremendously well for we and got me a second big victory this morning in H2H seasons.
The formation has lots of great inside run plays and a really good outside run as well. The passing game is even better, which is surprising since it only uses two wide receivers. PA Boot Slide is super overpowered, especially if you send the slot receiver on a crossing route.
It’s not cheesing either, because it takes advantage of the opposing players user instead of the CPU. If they choose to cover the crossing route, the tight end will almost always be open. If they stay to the left to guard the tight end, you can bomb them on the crossing route. And if they drop everything into coverage, you can audible to a run and catch them off guard!
Having both a HB and FB in the backfield provides much more time in the pocket as well as a sneaky passing threat.
