John Madden Football was a simulation. MUT is inherently arcadey, and I'm OK with that if the simulation had been in the backseat for the ride. But some years ago, EA pulled over at a rest stop, and simulation football was left behind. It was last seen wandering on the shoulder of Highway CA-101 with a stuffed clown, a doll, and an evil plush bear that smells of strawberries.

You most likely fit into one of the two above categories as a money or time spender,  if you don't, I have to question why you're even on a fan site for a game in the first place.

I dont understand why you’re spending $100 if you already have 17M in coins and bazillions of training and season tix? You could just buy any player you want already? Or buy packs? 

I dont care if you spend money, I do sometimes. I don't understand the coin hoarding? And I know its not just you, lots of people do this for whatever reason.

When Dev Studios actually used to HIRE AND PAY TESTER STAFF SPECIFICALLY to quality control bug/glitch test every nook & cranny of a New Game BEFORE IT'S released to sell!

It's the biggest gaming grift of all time. Raise your standards, speak with your wallet gaming consumers for once this Century.

The game is sold as "simulation" football -- i get it, i think most of us do at this point, but EA holds an exclusive license agreement with the NFL for simulation fatball.  We're not making this shit up.  I can't believe there's people defending EA and continually blaming us, the user base.  Unbelievable.

Hello fellow degenerate.  Normies will never understand it's not about acquiring the card; it's the thrill of the pull. Which is why I'm not buying this damn game next year. If I have to gamble with real money, I should at least be able to win real money XD.

I'm not sure if i made it a full sixty days, but was def more than a month (of no spending)... came extremely close to chasing the Andrew Luck / Omaha fiasco over the weekend, after seeing he was 5M+ but thankfully i somehow managed to dodge that bullet.  Welp, today i wasn't so fortunate (although i was lucky, in terms of pack luck).  But I'm beyond thrilled that it only cost me a fifty spot.  Oof, i'm so broken and damaged.

Thankfully (for once) i'm not here chasing those brief hits of dopamine, i legit just wanted to upgrade Jason Taylor as my edge rusher.  I'm Defensive Coordinator for our little squads trio, so essentially all of my focus and attention goes towards that side of the ball.  It's really the only game mode i truly enjoy at this point.

However, that's not to say i do not understand where you are coming from, i'm without a doubt a full-blown MUT addict.  We're very much cut from the same cloth.

Thank you for the feedback.  It's certainly not for everyone, my uhhh stream of consciousness writing style, as well as my often harsh personality can be a bit of an acquired taste.  I'd liek to think i mean well, even if I can be a hot head from time to time.  SO many people in this great community took me under their wing and invested a ton of time answering my questions when i first rejoined Madden (during M22 cycle) and eventually discovered ultimate team partway through the M23 game year.  So my goal is to continue learning and help teach newer players.  I have no shortage of strong thoughts, feelings and reactions to this once great and beloved franchise.

Rejoined?  Once great franchise?  You  sound like me?  I rejoined in 2019 ( Madden 2018).  From your post's you know NFL football history.  You offer great, unique perspectives on many things.
