Be Careful--Dont Use Mut Companion App

FUCKING FUCK FUCK.  @WizzLe (or @Legend) sorry for double ping, gentlemen... but nearly every single day, i'm encountering some "strange" (for lack of a better term) behavior from the forums / message board software.  This CKEditor stuff is driving me absolutely bonkers.  I'll be midway through my usual, rambling diatribe, only to have the screen somehow refresh and POOF, i've lost a couple/few paragraphs from my latest novella.

Is this user error?  Am i somehow hitting a combination of keys that could cause the browser sessions to refresh?  Almost certainly a PEBKAC type scenario, but was hoping someone could enlighten or inform me, so as to avoid constant repeats.

Apologies in advance for wasting your precious time.  A classic case of PEBKAC.

Unsure if it's relevant, or matters, but i'm on:

Sorry, OP... second attempt, i somehow mucked up the initial response.  I'm curious how you filed your "appeal" and managed to get a response in the same week?  Is it safe to assume you've been trying to contact EA no-Help?  It's difficult for me to overstate how truly worthless those people are.  You are without a doubt barking up the wrong tree if you're hoping for them to provide ANY type of useful information or response.  You can contact them ten times and get at least nine totally different responses.  Even if you get someone who claims they'll "investigate" they always come back and determine that EA has done nothing wrong and no action or adjustment will be taken with your account status.

I got banned multiple times last year, those bots are nasty and the volume of automatic bot bans seems to happen anytime there's a significant market shift, such as Easter crash, followed by release of regular 99 OVR players/cards, which caused a near 2-3x bump in markets.  Over the weekend i was buying 96 OVRs for ~60-80k coins per, then could have easily resold them at 150-200k just one or two days later.

IF you truly have not done anything wrong (such as buying or selling coins on the secondary markets) and you're willing to put in the time and effort to fight this, your only recourse is to try and contact EA Legal in hopes of forcing Binding Arbitration.  It'll cost you about $6 USD to send off a Certified Letter (with delivery confirmation) to EA Legal and it is not a quick process.  Could take 2-3 months, or more.  I am definitely not an attorney and i am definitely not qualified to provide any type of legal advice, however i'm more than happy to share the template i used.  You are not alone, others are certainly suffering from similar afflictions.  Sorry this happened, what a truly unfortunate scenario.

This company truly is complete garbage. The lowest of the low. I can't believe people continue to just pour money into this game when EA has proven time and time again they are nothing but greedy, scumbag casino owners.

Good luck.  Assuming you didn't actually do anything wrong (or even if you did, and it's your first offense) they'll either straight up ignore your letter and pretend it never arrived, or they will almost certainly give you a one time exception, because no attorney sits through years of law school to want to have to deal with angry video game nerds raging over their latest Ultimate Team fiasco.  Nobody has ever accused EA of doing actual wr0k.  I have no reason to suspect this would be any different.

Also, your comment from the original post -- how is EA going to prevent you from entering Madden 26?  That sounds fishy.  You can always create a new account.  It's a bit of a hassle, but there's no way they can prevent you from starting fresh.

This happened to me in madden 22 I believe. I quit madden for a few years because of it and I will never use the companion app again

Still no response after letter sent.  No acknowledgement of receiving it or anything. Come Tuesday it will be 2 weeks.

If you haven't, you definitely need to open a case with  help.ea.com  I wouldn't depend solely on the letter.

This is NOT a quick process.  You should at the very least have confirmation of delivery, correct?  Assuming you sent it via Certified Mail (or via private courier).  This all hinges on someone at EA Legal actually reading and responding to these inquiries.  They must have waves and waves of these, but i suspect the majority of users are basically out of luck or struggling to interact with the EA no-Help folks, thinking they'll somehow get an account review or reversal... sadly, those folks are a huge waste of time.

Good luck, if you haven't heard anything within 30-60 days, might need to send a second letter.  Uff.

 I cannot believe that a company that’s  advertising a live service and has micro transactions that also has an app that shows you the cards and prices  in the game mode is banning people for using the app when you’re not on the game and probably not at home. What’s the point of the app then? because you cannot play ultimate team on the app so I would assume it’s main purposes is to buy and  sell and  then to see something like this. Is just confusing and terrible. 

I keep seeing things like this  happening with this company over the last few years  and have no confidence in ever spending any money on this game, knowing that these things are going to happen  

i just cannot believe how incompetent this company behaves and treats its customers
