This is knock outs and unstoppable force, right? Seems like it was great in years past but I tried it a little earlier and didn't think it was worth it.
Anyone like this ability enough to pay 2ap for it?
Do we know exactly what it does?

I think your understanding is pretty close to my own, if not darn near complete. I used it earlier in the year with the uhhh 92 Unstoppable TJ Watt, I think. I'm not sure which combination of abilities truly makes up Dual Threat, but it might be useful on a pure pass rusher that you drop into coverage from time to time.
Derrick Henry ROLB I believe has it, but I can't afford 2AP because I need MZKO and Enforcer Supreme on him. 💪
I've got Reinforcement on my other SUBLB (Cooper), who also becomes loop blitzer, but it's 0AP.
I use it on my Hendrickson and he regularly gets pressure when hes rush from the edge...I like it a lot personally...Im not sure what abilities it consists of but i know it is great for pash defending /rushing linebackers...

Is enforcer supreme basically tackle supreme + enforcer? Does it help you get fumbles with avalanche on henry? Henry is the guy I'm thinking of trying it on. I play him at slb mostly but I put him on the edge in one formation and I could see it being helpful there

I'm using King Henry (ROLB) in essentially the same way that you are. He's become my primary USER, that 0AP Avalanche is absolutely fantastic... however, it only truly begins to shine once it's combined with Enforcer (0AP) or better yet, Enforcer Supreme. They're basically the same ability, however Enfocrer Supreme will wipe zone progress (irrelevant) AND adds a massive fatigue penalty after hit sticking a ball carrier. Both should (but not always) "guarantee" a Hit Stick tackle, regardless of ball carrier's size, etc.
Defenders with this ability don't allow broken tackles, cause heavy fatigue penalties, and will clear a ballcarrier's progress towards entering the zone when landing a hit-stick.
Avalanche alone doesn't seem to be sufficient to reliably knock the ball loose, especially now that most everyone is running Tank on their skill position players. These are the direct counter to Tank. I've got 2AP Colossus on my DT, 1AP Colossus on my edge rusher and 0AP Unstoppable Force on my opposite edge rusher, so haven't really had the room to include a Dual Threat. 2AP is an awful lot to spend on an ability at this late stage in the game. Unless Henry is your primary pass rusher, i'd almost certainly settle for 1AP MZKO and invest those ability points elsewhere. YMMV. Hope that helps.

Great stuff. Thanks. I switched to es on Henry and mzko +avalanch baked on.

If I need to save AP, the very first thing i adjust is removing Enforcer Supreme and reverting to just the regular Enforcer on Derrick Henry. However, i find it extremely useful to be able to land a couple Hit Sticks and potentially cause the ball carrier to need to be subbed out for a play or two. Heck, if you manage to land a couple early Hit Sticks in a game, it can potentially "glitch" the ball carrier to the point where they're essentially stuck as yellow/orange level tired for the remainder of the game. It can be quite nasty. 💪
Avalanche alone seems nowhere near as impactful. Lemme know how it works out for you!
Its unstoppable force, plus KOs, so better than unstoppable force...doesnt help against the run though
You also need midzone KO/OSA to get reaction boosts
I tried Dual Threat on Henry and Hendrickson
Hendrickson plays amazing without it and Henry still not great in coverage so i removed that ability! Was 2 ap waste , because Hendrickson sill reaches QB without it on 4-3 or lb sacks
you have gotten the answer multiple times so I'm not going to repeat it but I used it on Ted Hendricks for a bit and it was nice. In Nickel 3-3 he would play linebacker for me. He would blitz, cover the flat, or be in a hook zone and did amazing. In Dime 3-2 I had him at DE as a pass rusher and he was a monster there too. if you want a do-it-all player that can play linebacker and rush the passer, Ted is your option. I like Henry as a user/coverage linebacker more than a pass rusher, his stats aren't bad but he is too good of a linebacker not to user.
