MADDEN 26 PRE-ORDER QUESTION

Can you pre-order the MVP bundle through the game store using points? This is my first pre-order of any kind let alone Madden and I want to make sure I get all my goodies when I do it. Lol. Thanks✌️

If ur asking if you can use mut points on it you definitely cannot you need to go thru whatever console store you have and buy it with real money

Got it. Yeah I just went through PlayStation store. I'm excited. Should I open my instant rewards now? I saw on another thread someone was asking if the new Andrew Luck was in there and someone said maybe if they waited. I'm still learning a lot of this. Lol.

Let me help try to accelerate your leaning. PLEASE temper your expectations. You've basically just purchased Madden 25 a second time, maybe there's new cut scenes. Notice how they haven't released even 1 second of actual gameplay footage? Because it's the exact same damn game. 

And Madden is an objectively not good game. It's a buggy, inconsistent, pay to win mess. Hopefully there will be some fun to be had. This community, while toxic as hell, is great. EA isn't going to teach you about the game, so you're left to ask questions here. 

My advice, please temper your expectations. $150 gets basic roster updates and some god awful new marketing terms to slap on content from 3 years ago. In many instances they've been using literally the exact same cards year after year after year. Last year it was "from the vault" this year it's "Vintage LTDs" but very little changes. BOOM TECH.

Yes, probably makes sense to hold your packs until Saturday, hoping you can get the new crop of Ultimate Legends. Choose whichever one is selling for the most and get that on the auction block ASAP, content typically drops signs 1030am Eastern on Saturdays.

Thank you. I understand. While this is my first year ever trying MUT I've definitely had experience with Madden and the repetitive product. Last football game I truly fell in love with was ESPN 2K5! Man that was a cool game at the time. I was so pissed the following year when it was gone that I refused to play Madden because of it.  My son was around 8 at the time so that boycott only lasted a few years and then he wanted some football and EA is it. Lol. But I've had a blast in MUT and on here. Don't get me wrong, I've had my heart broken several times by EA since September but it's been worth it. For personal reasons I'll spare you the details, but this game AND this community have helped me cope with grief in a way I never saw coming. And so for that sir, yes I'm excited to continue, EA and their bullshit be damned. Lol. I've certainly learned a hard and valuable lesson on how not to spend money on this game as I pretty much did everything a person could do wrong with spending real dollars until I found this site and community. Again, thank you sir, sincerely. The amount I spent wrong is bad enough but without MUTGG and the community it's difficult to imagine the amount I might have wasted on packs. I will take your advice and make coins the priority. In the past I would've kept and used an LTD until it was worth the quick sell value and then get rid of it. Lol. Like I said, so much money spent wrong the first couple months.

  Now this is my personal  opinion you can do whatever you want with your money, but I would stay far away from buying any  bundles that have to do with “launch” they have had a history at the beginning of the year of people not getting promotions and this year was no different.  
people were not getting their pre -order promotion cards , the college cards that were supposed to  transfer over to madden did not transfer, rookie premieres, and other promotional things didn’t as well and chasing down these cards we’re aggravating, and frustrating and very time-consuming only to either never get them or when you did they didn’t  were out dated 

My opinion, just buy the game at normal price and you’ll be fine.

Thank you but I just pulled the trigger a couple hours ago on the MVP. If that does happen this year, going forward I won't do anymore pre-orders.

Apologies in advance for getting off on the wrong foot. You clearly know what you're getting into and it sounds liek you're at least old enough to know better. I'm basically a gaming grandpa at this point. Thankfully, we can quickly and easily weed out the children, just by typing in complete sentences, maybe even with punctuation. Ain't nobody got time (or attention span) for that these days. 😜

Let me back up and start over... WELCOME. Glad you managed to find your way here. Please don't take any of my ranting and raving personally, I'm projecting my own deficiencies out into the world. Perhaps someday I'll grow a pair and retire from this objectively not good video game, but I'm still having an absolute blast playing Squads with the boyz. Everything else, well... not so much.

I'm also getting sick of explaining to my wife why we need a ~thousand dollars worth of virtual playing cards each and every single year. Once you have a decent stack to start investing and get familiar with the MUT markets, well... it's not THAT difficult to earn coins. Heck, we're up against children, so in many instances, it's literally taking candy (or coins) from a baby. But our rosters aren't going to build or fund themselves. No mercy!

Glad you're here, please keep the questions coming. I took a very long break from Madden, returned to console gaming, then found my way back during M22 cycle, eventually stumbling into MUT halfway through M23. Now I'm spending (investing? wasting) 1000+ hours per year on this shit. So many in the community helped teach me the game, hoping to pay that forward.
