Does slotomatic include route tech only when lined up in the slot? Is it the exact same or a slightly worse version? Do they both stack? What else is included in slotomatic?
it only works on short routes from the slot. I personally go for route tech and short in elite before slotomatic
Slot o is like sie and soe built in one as long as you're in what the game considered the slot which is more forgiving than you would think as you can be the outside receiver with it and it will activate if you're inside the numbers at the start of the play even though you're not a slot receiver. Hope that makes sense, there's videos on it that you can find. I prefer slot o because it activates against man and zone where route tech is only man.

Wish I had known this before I invested all my money in RT players...

To be fair, most people want abilities that help them beat man because they feel it clamps with the UC and bottlenecks... so you didn't waste my any means

given this it seems like SRE is the best?
Route tech beat every man KO-s with posession catch. The best ability vs man to man cheesers.

Per the discription, it is like short elite + route tech when lined up in the slot. It specifically mentions route running, whereas sie and soe do not.
Can you share the source of it only activating against man?

My source is my own gameplay.
Route tech will activate only against man and its for separation on final cut of routes.
Slot o will activate against both ban and zone because it not only grants the separation against man but it grants a catching bonus against man or zone.
Go into practice mode and try both to see what I mean.

Route tech used to only work against man coverage in m23. I'm not sure about this year. I have heard catch abilities are not work it but I feel they are. My guys actually catch the ball whereas without it I never seem to be able to catch anything that isn't my player 10 yards open.
