Vanguard seems to work better on impact blocks downfield but not the initial block.
At least that's my experience

Sounds juicy. I don't have any vanguards out there yet this year. Threw 2 or 3 free honorary linemans on though. I'd like a vanguard or two but 1 ap is really pushing it and 2 is hard pass.

Yeah Tucker craft at 3 is super tough with the ap limits. I was all in on secure protector until I've learned vanguard thrives in the run game.

Secure Protector + All Day is basically a requirement to play online. Vanguard is more of a bonus, that you'd stack on top of, in addition to blocking abilities.

I agree with the secure protector part. Thankfully Nelson and long both get free pass and run protect free, on top of the 1 point vanguard, and as I mentioned Stephenson getting free secure protector on top of his 1 point vanguard. I run Staley at LT for now, Jeff Saturday at RT. Both with secure protector. Jimmy Graham and Cam J my TEs. Both with secure protector. Run game is thriving
