SR Cards w/ Karrot upgrades

This is my first promo with a special currency. After the karrots are gone will the SR cards be upgradable with coins/training or not at all? Trying to figure out if they’re worth upgrading now or if waiting would be better.

Typically after currency converts they become upgradeable with training...just be wary it might cost a lot of training...
