There's a tweet regarding the form used to create a GT and if true, these cards could end up being great this year. The last couple of years they've been bad due to being worse than other cards in game but this year, again assuming the tweet is true, it looks like EA is easing up on restrictions.

Here's how they're made on the forms this year for anybody interested -
- Any Position for whatever player you pick This means you can even make cards for players in the game that don't even have a card at that position yet (MLB Peyton, RE Calvin Johnson, etc.)
- Boost ANY 5 attributes There's no limit on physical attributes, you can boost speed, strength, trucking, any 5 attributes. From Madden 20-23 we couldn't do this, and then in 24 we COULD, but one physical attribute boost would count as 2 of your 5 boosts.
- Baked on abilities You can choose one x-factor and any two abilities as baked on 0 ap for the GTs. There's 3 or so x-factors blocked from doing this with like Threat Detector, but stuff like Truzz, Run and Gun, and PLE are allowed.
- More abilities The forms also say you can choose 3 extra 0 ap abilities and 3 1 ap abilities. Making these GTs FAR better than last year, and the past few years as well.
If the cards are made correctly, we could see the best GTs we've seen in many years this year. It'll be hard for them to be better than CB Moss and Caleb Jones from last year because my GT getting denied so many times is the only reason Moss was able to be so cracked.
BUT, they're gonna be crazy, and the worst one this year should be better than a lot of the better ones last year.
I personally put a TON of insane abilities and X-factors on my Golden Ticket I submitted, which if they're allowed, it's going to be the best card in the game lol.
