I see a lot of people commenting on cards on here etc about why a card is ok or how it’s compared to others, and a lot of the time I see people talking about Universal Coverage. And a argument against it is normally is for example, “well so & so card has deep in ko, deep out ko, and mid zone ko so it’s the same” but it’s not actually….
The main difference and why UC costs way more than just regular KO’s it’s not because it’s phenomenal against Man & Zone it’s bcuz one of its main abilities is Faster Reactions it gives a card! 

I know a lot of people don’t know this but that’s why it is, and always will be a meta Ability and S Tier when compared to just regular KO’s

KOs also get the faster reactions in the designated area. If you only play zone, no point in spending 2ap when you could spend 0 or 1 and have your fast reaction always on.

Correct, at perkiness already stated, THE primary reason we use Mid Zone KO everywhere is for that improved reaction time component. The actual knock out is secondary, it's highly unreliable, although it often breaks up these passes. 

UC is great for folks who actually run both Man and Zone, but the majority of us almost never play straight up Man to Man, unless it's to defend the stupid glitchy ass double pass bullshit. In which case, I tend to favor the 1AP Flat, Mid + Deep stack on outside corners or Safeties.
