I apologize in advance of this is a dumb question, but I’m trying to understand why my 99 OVR LT is a 97 at RT. I also notice that many 98 OVR MLBs get the 99 Gold at OLB. I know OVR doesn’t matter at the end of the day, so don’t abuse me too much about that lol, but can someone explain to me what stats are better at LT and RT and why I’m seeing the differences. Thank you!
Reason: Typo
I believe it is a hold over from a stat penalty for oop from the past. They used to receive negative awareness out of position, then they removed the penalty but couldn't figure out the rest. Which makes sense with ea.
I'm also guessing in the case of MLB, they get boosted because they have better coverage stats than olbs and no negation?

What specific LT are you asking about?
The only 99 (Natural) is Joe Thomas, but he's a 98 at RT.

I’m using Team Captain Staley. I have him up to 97 OVR, with 40/40 pats and packers with all the boosts. He’s a 98 at RT now, but his stats are mostly boosted to 98 or 99 at all key stats. just seems odd that he wouldn’t translate to a 99 at RT with those good stats.

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you care about your teams' overall rating.
I've been playing Staley at RT for a while now, and he's held up well.
I did notice there seems to be a 3 point OOP penalty for no apparent reason.
When you compare Joe Thomas to Lane Johnson, Lane is better overall, but he's a 96 at LT.

Yea I’m definitely not worried about it. He’s playing fine. I just found it weird and thought I’d see if anyone had a good answer. Sounds like it’s just a random dock from EA geniuses.
