Heavy Saint - QB Blast

Anyone have defense for this? 

Been seeing it a lot lately. Vanguards everywhere & Poe at QB with Freight Train. Insane.

its crazy but i just play dollar and db fire. 

6-1 is also good, but you need a version that has outside corners in cloud/hard flats b/c of run fits which you have to do manually every play you see the formation or i think theres one in pats defense pb. overall dont play 6-1 though so cant give the best advice on that front.

there's a glitch with the scheme that allows them to get to the outside faster than normal on the qb power so having dbs that can get sheds is critical. pat p with reinforcement xf has helped a lot, also running dejean toty ltd card in the slot that gets 0ap out of my way along with other things to defend the run.

I'm not convinced Freight Train on the QB even triggers properly, but Tank on any ball carrier is pretty nasty.

Secure tackler absolutely wrecks it. 

i dont use secure tackler but here this shows how easy it is too stop and its verse a top 100 player

There is only one passing play out of this formation which is a mesh play and they can only make one hot route if they come out in the Power version of the formation (which is what they all do)

3-4 over cover 4 shaded underneath stops it pretty easy

or any 3-4 where you are blitzing a safety on the right side 

you can stop it really easy outta dime packages doing what i just did with bringing everyone down, and you can do the same nickle 3-3 odd cover 4

come out in double safety blitz so everyone is down to the line then audile to cover 4

The only way this doesnt stop it is because Poe broke a tackle, which is why secure tackler destroys this scheme.

This is absolutely fantastic advice! Thank you for sharing this. Wasn't sure if it was possible to defend it with DBL safety go. Looks like you did a great job against a top opponent. They put all of their vanguards to the right side and let them wreak havoc. I think it's time to invest in reinforcements. lol
