I think Yes because it is simpler and It would make things more fluent and those players with abilities more like a star instead of everyone getting abilities. The casuals would like it and completive players would like it as well
Also No more x factors as abilities and no more glowing x factors when the game starts are after a certain amount of plays.

Should just get rid of it, players play based on stats
They should make a mode with no abilities. Then players can pick what mode they like best. But no EA doesn’t want players to actually enjoy the game

Since the nfl draft is coming ea might make a draft champions mode like they did last year with no abilities
I think in principle, abilities and X-Factors are great for the game. However, their implementation by EA creates a potential for abuse (Starts-On Mind Reader or Omaha? Seriously?), and since LTD’s tend to get better and cheaper ability stacks, they widen the gap between casual user and hardcore user lineup performances.
MUT would be so much better if they just got rid of abilities altogether. But they won't because I'm assuming it is a money maker for them to stack LTD's with great abilities.
But EA can't even fix all the glitch plays and awful AI. The best mode they have is 6 on 6 but even then the AI is dumbed down, but at least abilities and glitches aren't much of an issue.

The only way this works is for stats to actually matter. Current Madden, the only thing that is different from cards that are recently released from cards that were released 2 months ago are abilities. That’s exactly why you have 90 speed db’s with the ability to keep up with 98 speed wr’s. Make stats matter again and I’m 100% ok with removing abilities and x-factors.

Mutmas draft mode and Most Feared draft were amazing
Yes! Madden 20 would not have been so bad if they didn’t make Freight train so over powered. Also what they could do is allow us to use The 6 abilities on offense or defense or split them evenly on offense and defense.
Yes...not a fan of abilities, but limiting to three makes these cards difference makers...which was fine back when it was done this way.

The Lineup doesn’t determine the player.
I routinely face players loaded with LTD’s who aren’t good at the game.
