Karlaftis or Von Miller LTD?

Maybe I will take your suggestion and see how Von does for a day before selling. I doubt his value goes down soon anyways.

I’ve been trying to find a way to free up the AP to replace Hunter with Von and see if he plays better on the edge but 10AP on the D-line is kinda crazy right now.

I guess that's not THAT unreasonable, seeing as I have 9AP invested between Von and Jenkins. Keeping Urlacher would be a far cheaper way to get both SUBLBs with Avalanche + Enforcer Supreme combo, but I'm spoiled and want 99 SPD users to choose from. Urlacher is fantastic, but he kind of lumbers around the field and I'm not always as decisive as I need to be with my cuts, I'm starting and stopping and changing directions constantly as I chase people around, especially in Squads play where things get crazy. 

There is a Vita Vea coming Monday, I think, so either sell late tonight or plan to hold through midweek. Unless you need the coins, I've made my preference clear. YMMV, but in my head it's as simple as Colossus > UF.

Is it 1M coins better? That, I'm not so sure. But it's objectively superior.

I feel that about Urlacher 100%. I got Urlacher boosted up to 98 SPD 99 ACC and he still ends up being tough to user because he gets hung up trying to change direction. He’s great if left alone and I love causing fumbles with him butI just replaced him today with Kyle Hamilton to see if he moves significantly better. Haven‘t been able to play yet since making the change.

I saw that Vea is coming, it will be interesting to see if he gets UF or Colossus.

I can hold Von if needed, I’m not MUT rich but I’ve got coins. Made 2-3 mil the past couple of days just flipping a few cards.

I've been using Sack Sieler for the 3AP UF since he came out. Do we still think Karlaftis is better at DT?

I never tried sack but have always wondered how he compared since he would save 1AP.

He plays just like karlaftis...just lower speed but cheaper ap. Im running 45/20

Eagles/chiefs and have the extra ap to spare on george.

Well my Von Miller is officially for sale. I had some time to run through like 6 more champs games and then did about 10 challenges to finish off some objectives.

There was no comparison, first champs game my opponent had no abilities on his o-line. I watched Von light up consistently, sometimes even 2-3 times during a play and it was extremely rare for him to actually get through the o-line. The rest of my champs games everybody had o-line abilities and Von had damn near zero impact. He was also noticeably worse against the run.

Went into challenges and thought for sure he would be a demon. Nope, this dude did absolutely nothing against the cpu with no abilities.

In challenges Karlaftis is literally in the backfield almost every play.

I can’t comprehend how anyone would think this Von card is better than Karlaftis at DT.

Weird that people can have such vastly different experiences with the same card.  So much random, inconsistent nonsense with this bad game.  I had this stack; Colossus, Speedster, Unpredictable and Inside Stuff, for a total of 4AP.

Colossus is objectively superior to Unstoppable Force, i don't think that's up for debate.  0AP Inside Stuff is better than 1AP Inside Stuff... kinda see where i'm going with this?  My Von Miller has been explosive, he's into the backfield on both run and pass plays, soaking up (and often splitting right through) double teams.  His stats are nowhere near as impactful as Barno, but still enough of an upgrade over Poe (at a fraction of the cost) for me to make the switch.  Glad George is working out so well for you guys, although i'm not sure 6 games is large enough sample size to feel confident about anything... but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Take the money and run, you'll never regret having coins.

In any type of Solo Challenges, Von doesn't have a chance to pad his stats, because Barno is there on 3 out of three downs to sack the QB before they can even get a play off.  He's so nasty, especially coming off the right edge (left of screen) which seems to be the dominant side for pass rush this year.

I trust peatrick. Probably just scheme.

He claims domination from his right side,where in my scheme the left side de dominates. He rushes 3 while i rush 4-5 depending on my defensive read. It sounds crazy but having the exact correct placement of players at certain positions makes a big difference. IE. I run barno-karlaftis-poe-ware in one setup...if i rearrange ware to the opposite side and swap the dts positions ill get completely different results. So yeah kinda comes down to scheme and placement of players.

I do find it interesting how different the results can be. I know 6 games isn’t a large sample size but the difference was so glaring that I really didn’t want to play anymore games with Von in there.

It‘s funny you say that Von doesn’t have time to sack the QB in challenges because of Barno. In my challenges Barno doesn’t have time to sack the QB because of Karlaftis.

Thanks for the in depth explanation, that makes more sense now. I wasn’t trying to single out Peatrick either, I meant dudes (plural) in general, but I can see now that it kind of reads differently that I intended.
