Please f’n explain to me house rules

House Rules what kind of fuckery is this !?

I drive the ball all the way down the field passing first downs running first downs short first downs 20+ yard first downs not a single point, ZERO. 
And then score a touchdown I’m up 7-0

my opponent gets the ball incomplete, 3 yard run, incomplete, 8 yard pass on 4th down he gets points though and now my lead is from 7 down to 4. He literally has to barely get 2 more first downs and now my entire drive and touchdown is wiped off the board and now he is winning from 3 first downs??!!!!

i intercept his throw, ZERO POINTS. My ball now and throw 2 first downs, I get Zero points for those, and throw a 50+ yard touchdown I actually fucking get points now woww surprised, he gets the ball drives all the way down the field getting multiple first downs so now my 20 something point lead is down to zero and he wins the game what the actual fuck is this game mode

Yeah EA doesn’t actually explain the rules.

First downs only subtract points from your opponent (if they have any points).

Int./fumble also only subtracts points from your opponent (if they have any points).

Defensive TD = 6 pts

Offensive TD = 5 pts

Offensive 10-19yd TD = 10 pts

Offensive 20+yd TD = 20 pts

so, you don’t want the ball first, you don’t want first downs, you don’t even fucking want touchdowns in all honesty because if you think about it, you could score 8 touchdowns to my Zero but as long as I get first downs after you score I win the game hahahahhahaaha wtttttttf

I apologize my math was incorrect, I figured it out. Your opponent could score 11 Touchdowns in a game against you, ELEVEN TOUCHDOWNS and not give up 1 single touchdown and actually lose the game !!!

I assume it was EA’s way of trying to make it more difficult for people to get 9 wins in a row so they aren’t paying out as much rewards.

it makes no sense. so now we not only have cheese plays, but were encouraged to score long passing tds and now the pts dont even stay and subtract and all this? are you kidding me? its insane this company isnt sued into the ground for taking people money for packs. this blows my mind. i got 10m coins gonna go to waste bc i dont care to play this idiotic shit

Fuckery is absolutely correct, my goodness.  I played one game of House Rules last evening, was down 7-0 or whatever, then began driving and somehow whittled the dude's lead down to just 2-0 and had a first and goal, could have easily come back and won, until i tossed a careless Stevie Wonder type pick to choke it.  Oh well.  I'm taking the week off from House Rules, it seems.  I don't need this nonsense, i'm just trying to play simulation fatball, which apparently is impossible in the modern era.

Fuck my life.  None of this makes sense, whoever conjures up these random rulesets must have been deprived of oxygen.  This is nuts.  Absolutely nuts.

Correct my fault 30 points results in a win, so you could technically score 5 TD’s and your opponent score 0 and lose, kinda wild the way it sounds
