Are there any Combine players worth buying without combine tokens?

I have spent my tokens on Martin, Peterson, Barno, Ramsey, Ross, Nix and Urlacher.
Is it worth picking up some non-ltd Combine players if I don't have any Combine tokens left?

You could get Lamar and ditch nix to get Simmons? You would need nix token. I switch nix to Lamar and he has been great and 4 less ap

I already have TOTY Hamilton and FA Blackmon at SS, both BND. Hamilton is my Sub LB. 
How would you fit Simmons in?

Maybe swap your Blackmon tokens over to Justin Fields, which would allow you to remove the Bo Nix upgrade token, thereby granting you the ability to grab another / different player.

It sucks for everyone who didn't get a dozen, or more of those Combine upgrade tokens.  They will remain the clear best cards in the entire game for some time.  I would NOT use that Lamar, he doesn't get Gift-Wrapped, plus his presnap adjustments are brutally long.

I'm not expert but I have h8m at SS and at sub1. So I run blackmon and Simmons in base formation both with deep ko elite and mid Simmons has flat also. In sub packages I have Simmons and Harrison smith as lbs. I have vikes tt and smith is a bnd. And then blackmon and Krause with pa and deep in ko. That's how I currently have it set up. All bonds except Simmons. I was thinking of putting him at slot cb with inside shade but I'm not running much man coverage anymore. Someone smarter than me might say other wise but that's what I'm rolling with atm

Whats wrong with Lamar? He plays great for me. I know everyone says gw is a must but I haven't noticed a difference with him. Have run n gun and he has played the best at qb for me so far. And only spending 3 ap. Who do you have? Always down for upgrades.

Lamar wiping his towel and taking forever in between pre-snap adjustments alone is a deal-breaker for me, but also lack of Gift-Wrapped is huge. The game cheats us FAR too often, GW ensures we don't get robbed on diving catch animations when pass leading the ball.

Use whoever YOU enjoy and more importantly, whatever fits your play style... there's tons of great QBs this year. I'm still using Poe OOP, he's got the best release in the game and I'm mostly a pocket passer, so those little things I value more than everyone else. Run n Gun can be hilarious if I'm getting chased out of the pocket, but I usually just end up taking a sack before I escape and think to heave up a prayer on the run.

Ok ty. So what exactly does gift wrapped do? I thought it improved passing to open wrs but I also read it helps the wr catch the ball. So it is definitely the way to go? What stack do you run on Poe? What token is required? Thanks a million as always.

I guess you answered it already. So gw helps wrs catch diving passes?

Poe OOP requires the Strong token. There's a couple sets you can use to swap tokens.

All QBs basically require the same quad/god stack: 

• Gunslinger 
• Gift-Wrapped 
• Master Tactician (although some QBs do not get this, so you can often build your own, as it is the combination of; Backyard QB + Conductor -- and Backyard QB is simply Hot Route Master + QB Playmaker) 
• Set Feet Lead / Pass Lead Elite (these velocity abilities are much less impactful this year)

Gift-Wrapped prevents the game from cheating us. Any of those wide open drops, but especially the diving catch animations, it ensures you'll almost always catch those.  You're using the Placement & Accuracy settings, correct? So you can pass lead the ball? This is a must-have, IMO.

i use Byron jones without a token. PA MZ DZKO for 1

To be honest I'm only using default settings. I don't know what settings to use. What is the difference? 

I really only know the basics when it comes to actual gameplay. I main like the team builder/auction house trading aspect
