How to unlock abilities that need an increase?

When you have an ability that says “To unlock: achieve 87 Strength” for example and boosts put him from an 85 to an 89 why won’t it become available? If boosts won’t do it what do they want?

Has to be stock. Boosts don’t unlock new abilities unfortunately.

Purchase cards that have those abilities. Whatever card you’re referring to cannot be “upgraded” to gain other abilities.

I guess their definition of achieve means something else to them.
