I don't think he's making that much of a diffrence but its a huge upgrade on defense for not a lot of money

I just don’t see why they cut an aging expensive vet just to go and sign an aging expensive vet
costs them money and will see similar production

Bosa is WAYYY better than Miller was with the Bills. Bosa is a huge upgrade for only 12 mil

Von is 35. Bosa is 29.
In hindsight, Jerry Hughes had 9 sacks in Houston the year Buffalo let him go and signed Von (who had 8 sacks).
Cutting Von saves Buffalo 8.4m in Salary Cap.
Signing Bosa is a 5.32m in Salary Cap.

29 is very different than 35 but both had injury problems the last few years. If healthy it's a steal. But they only paid 12mil cuz of the injuries. If could even see them limiting his snaps so he is a 100% come playoff time. He played a full season only 3 of 9 seasons. Availability is something often underestimated. I don't care if you are the greatest pass rusher ever. If ur injured it doesn't matter.
