playing HR has made me a worse player, when I hop into a reg game I find myself still trying to hit 1 play tds instead of my normal offense. This happen to anyone else? Also thanks for attending my ted talk
I won't dismiss the impact of having to adapt when switching between diverse rule sets, but to me the deciding factor in my lack of success in the latest House Rules games has been that the games are played on All-Pro difficulty instead of All-Madden. The sliders on these modes and consequent windows for timing are very different, and I strongly feel that All-Pro favors cheesers.
I’m at the point of the year I’ve stopped playing ranked/WL/champs. Just messing around in HR and squads on the weekends.
I can see your point though yep. Even w/o trying to scheme different between the modes, the AP to AM difficultly swing is one I hate. Just wish these HR modes were played on AM

“Cheesers” or meta players I don’t feel get favored anymore in All Pro than All Madden. The fluke is def worse in AP
I would argue it’s actually easier to play against the meta gameplay in AP than it is on All Madden. Especially on offense. If I see a dollar looper in HR I feel like I’m almost guaranteed the win. I just run duo and trap runs up and down the field. The shed timers are longer, and you get weakened gap assignments in AP. In All Madden, these plays aren’t as successful as the random sheds from DE happen more frequently.
Just my .02.

Perhaps we disagree on the result, but we actually agree on the mechanic. Defense is inept on All-Pro, and the offense has more time to find gaps to throw into. Since I don’t loop blitz as I’m not a CHEATER, I find that almost no one gets home on the pass rush, and I get killed on throws underneath coverage and toward the sidelines, as well as the always pervasive and predictable but often unpreventable throw over the top. These seem to be covered better on All-Madden. I disagree with your take on loop blitzes being less effective on All-Pro: I often record and replay the frequent QB hits I take less than two seconds after the snap. Across the board, my interior linemen are giving the Olé to the loop blitzer.
Our experiences as to difficulty may have more to do with the fact that on All-Madden my defense has been solid, whereas I constantly get gashed on All-Pro. However, I am still fielding many early-February players, and so I get fewer abilities than my opponents on both sides on the ball, and the lack of abilities is definitely holding back my offense in either case.

We don't necessarily disagree, we just go at it differently.
I run all over the loop in All Pro. I don't have to worry about my QB being hit, because I rarely ever have to drop back and throw.
You can't get away w/ that w/ All Madden defensive linemen and quick shed timers. Those run lanes aren't there as easily in All Madden. In HR/All Pro....its a quick and easy 5-90 yards a run.

I don't have the runningback, I don't have the outside blockers, and apparently, I don't get the coinflips you guys get.
But whatever. We're getting another broken version in a couple days. Probably no patches, though.
