People complain about the loop blitz, engage blitz, and things like mid blitz. To those people: genuinely, how would you want people to play defense against you?

IMO there are counters to all of those , I personally love facing Mid Blitz unless your a superior player ( which at the point it wouldn't matter anyway ) . Not that I complain but it is really boring when a dude just runs one of these and never adjusts .

Ignore these people, they're going to complain no matter what. To a certain extent, they're not technically wrong -- the game is filled with buggy ass, inconsistent shit that people exploit until the cows come home, but it's difficult for me to fault the players when it's a bad, broken game that is the real issue. O-line blocking is probably THE worst aspect of an objectively not good game, which is truly saying something. The number of times we watch our linemen stand there and turn and watch as a defender blows by, literally untouched, is just absurd for a modern AAA video game.
I wish people would play actual football, but if they're going to send 6-7+ pass rushers on each and every single down, that typically will leave gaps in coverage. Just gotta get the ball out quick. It's the 3-man type engage blitz that tends to be extremely frustrating, but even then, there are some holes in coverage.
I have plenty of complaints with this game and there's TONS of cheese for anyone looking for it, but i tend to assume these people griping are just sore losers.

It’s funny how much hate defense is getting recently about “cheese” when I would say for most of the year offense has been more broken. Double pass plays where the whole defense will bite down no matter what, RPO flats that literally dumb out the flat defenders, motion plays that glitch out man assignments etc. This whole game is “glitchy” lol.

Yeah, with zones being so bad, people kind of have to resort to using "cheese" defense. But there is just as much glitchy stuff on offense lol

I’ve moved away from loop blitzes, once you play better players everyone knows how to block it.. Just running colossus and uf and switch sticking and pray for sheds now

Im at the point I pray to see a dollar or 3-4 looper.
The thing I’m struggling the most with right now is the nickel normal cover 4 with a line having a combo of 4 of Von, Poe, Micha, Barro, Hunter or Karlaftis. The sheds can get crazy at times
I haven’t spent the AP/coins on a full secure protector line, but I’m about ready to.

haha you have to, my line all have abilities and my guards+center have pass protect/all day/post up
but yes, I’d much rather play against dollar and loop blitzes, i struggle more against 3-4 odd or 4-3 even

You should be allowed to blitz in this game.. You should also be prepared to face the consequences . Like people have said before, there [ should be] a counter for everything.
It's a big problem when the blitzes take advantage of the poorly coded AI of the game and there's no counter to it. Then some youtubers want to get views so they make videos on it, and everyone follows like sheep.

There are various and multiple counters to it
Are you just wanting more realistic NFL counters, or Madden counters?
The former won't happen. Probably never unfortunately. This game is not an NFL simulation, as much as we'd all like it to be.

Yeah but unless you are hardcore and looking at youtube for these fixes..... to the casual gamer that doesn't , there are no obvious fixes. Simply sliding the line over to combat the 3-2 lb glitch isn't enough, although logically it should be. So it's not a madden or real life thing. Should be a common sense thing to even the average gamer.

that’s my issue with it. a simple half slide towards the gap and identifying the looping mike should be all it takes but I have to leave my RB in leaving only 4 routes runners and the looper still might shed the RB. and the people who loop dont think it’s an issue because they’re the ones running the most meta cards with every knock out in the game meanwhile the casual player has maybe a mid zone on their 4 outside DBs and majority of the time no abilities on their receivers.

Run some zone or other variation of plays with these blitzes. If no other play can compare maybe there is something wrong with the blitz 🤔
