At the end of the day, we are a community so let’s post tips to beat this blitz for those that struggle. I’m sure there’s a dozen ways to do it so let’s collaborate our solutions to hopefully help those who are frustrated in the community
My Counters:
- run play action plays as it dumbs out the loop but either put your HB on a route or pass block him cancelling the actual PA hand off.
- Utilise master tac/backyard QB from PA, put a player on a drag across the middle and play maker them up in the hole of where the blitzing LB should be
- run quick TE streaks in a bunch formation
- manipulate the match coverage by running route concepts which pull the outside corner in 3 receiver sets to one side of the field i.e comebacks, corners, out routes and then have your inside guy pull the safety with crossers, posts, deep ins and have a seam on your middle receiver which will be wide open EVERY time deep
- run the ball with counters, inside iso runs or HB wham, sweeps and jet passes.
- just before the snap, motion a receiver across the field and snap it before they cross the QB, they will then pick up a block
