We should stop running cheese plays in the big 25.
I have a low opinion of almost anyone I run into these days in head-to-head, because the rewards at present ensure the game is littered with LOSERS.
Must be nice to have an elite squad with a bunch of KO’s and elite receiver abilities doing all the work for you, along with glitchy play-flipping and broken plays getting guys wide open. Cheaters make millions and rub it in the face of everyone else, and then jump on the next gravy train, repeat.
Play the game how you choose and don't worry about anyone else, simple.
Sadly, the cheese will never go away. UNLESS, they create a mode for sim players (add cool down to plays, must punt on 4th down, OLine adaptive AI to cheese blitzes, etc). Doubt that will ever happen.
Cheese is in every game. Marvel rivals, League of legends, COD, etc. Nothing was more cheesier than the DMR meta in warzone...
Just gotta blame the bad coding in the game. If there were more variety, we wouldn't run into the same cheese every game. How hard is it to patch the double pass and loop blitz?

Ya, it's always so strange to me when folks want to blame the players... EA has created this mess, of course every ignorant kid that watches a ~twenty second long TikTok video is going to parrot back what they're seeing. I'm more amazed in the extremely rare instances when I face an opponent who wants to play actual fatball. Nearly everyone i face these days is a one-play pussy. I legit had this moron last evening who kept running the same play over and over, then he would complain when his defense couldn't stop anything -- made zero adjustments, just kept SCREAMING into the microphone about "DDA" and how bad the game was, how he couldn't ever catch a break, blah blah blah. The absolute worst humanity has to offer. Pathetic, lazy and entitled. I'll never understand how someone can come out and NEVER adjust and simultaneously expect that their stock defense with zero adjustments will (or should) just take away each and every single play.
Don't hate the player, hate the game, peoples. I expect people will be full of terrible takes, but this stuff constantly takes the cake for me. Beyond pathetic and brain-dead. I don't liek the bullshit cheese anymore than the next guy, but there's absolutely nothing about this bad, broken, buggy ass, inconsistent mess of a game that even resembles simulation fatball. I'm the asshole for pissing into the wind, wanting, waiting, hoping for EA to lose their exclusive NFL license, so we can go gripe about how greedy and pathetic Take Two Interactive has become... but compared with Madden, the NBA2K franchise feels extremely polished and filled with features. This (Madden) is a pathetic game even by 2013 standards -- and not much has changed since then. Oh wait, we got the glorious Saquon backwards butt-hurdle, because who can live without that great feature. Uff.
It's just bad coding. In the last five years, this is the worst Madden has been with pass coverage. It's disgusting how often people bomb you over the top after getting pushed into a 4th and 30 situation. They nerfed rushing but let you complete the most bullshit passes. The constant play spamming has always been a thing. Double post last year was ridiculous. This season its been the shitty double pass spammers that will keep trying it over and over again.
No one really punts on 4th down either.
It's March. If you hate seeing abilities littered on the field, you might want to uninstall now. It's gonna get ugly from here on out.
Me personally, I would like a new mut draft mode that paid good rewards without abilities. But, then you could play regs.

I just don't understand how people run loop blitz walked up safties in cover for, RPOs and double pass. Its not playing a game at that point

Personally I wouldn't enjoy playing the game this way but I also don't think how I enjoy the game should matter to someone who prefers to play this way . None of this are exploits , they all can be countered and it is playing a game just not the way you play the game .

there’s a new post every day for this. Literally do a google or youtube search of beaters and you’ll be fine.
the blitz is so easy to exploit and can actually cause your opponent more harm than good if you execute the correct counters.
run play action plays as it dumbs out the loop but either put your HB on a route or pass block him cancelling the actual PA hand off.
manipulate the match coverage by running route concepts which pull the outside corner in 3 receiver sets to one side of the field i.e comebacks, corners, out routes and then have your inside guy pull the safety with crossers, posts, deep ins and have a seam on your middle receiver which will be wide open EVERY time deep
run the ball with counters, sweeps and jet passes. there are solutions there, instead of blaming your opposition, learn to counter. Force them to switch it up and most of the players running it don’t have a secondary option…
