anyone else’s bo nix starting to over throw?

have gunslinger on him, he was money first few days i had him, now i am getting blue (perfect passes) which are over thrown, no free form? starting to cause me picks on wide open reads…

do i remove gun slinger? or move on to someone like Poe?

Even with deadeye my Vick is doing the same thing

Your prolly better off either adding gift wrapped in OR taking GS off him for a different ability. When I was using it, it became more of a liability than a ability.

Its Gunslinger...gunslinger has been an issue all year

EA doesnt factor in the quick release, so with perfect accuracy, EA will put the ball where it would be without gunslinger

Take off Gunslinger, and you;ll notice less interceptions...put on sideline deadeye instead

Agree, gunslinger isnt coded propertly and has way too many random INTs

havent had an issue with nix or poe. any chance getting pressured by like edge threat elite or something?

I noticed the same exact thing! My speed outs turn into streaks the way how Bo Nix overthrows them. Gunslinger is the problem, but why do pros still use it if it's causing issues?

I'm convinced it's just the game, they tried to add some uhhh "variability" or something this year with abilities and just liek everything else that EA touches, their ability to execute leaves quite a bit to be desired.  I'm noticing ALL quarterbacks suffer from this.  At least all QBs with Gunslinger equipped -- i'm not enough of a madman to play the game without abilities.  That'd be liek shooting yourself in the foot.  What is more important than getting the ball out quickly, especially against the constant heavy pressure so many of us are facing?

But yes, you should move on to Poe.  Bo Nix is an objectively better QB, but Poe has the superior QB Release style.  After having used both, i'm not going back to Bo Nix, unless you really are married to his ability stack (or Momentum Shift, etc.) -- just the second time i faced that (Momentum Shift) last evening, it always catches me by surprise and i have to remind myself to start counting plays, so I can sub out my D-line for that one down, to avoid getting my Unstoppable Force (and Colossus) deactivated, but when kids are perpetually going No Huddle, it can be a nightmare.  My goodness, i wish they'd have some type of in-game penalty for running No Huddle ALL game.  Sadly, EA tried to impose a stamina penalty last year, but as with everything else they touch, they mucked it up, patched 2-3x before ultimately reverting.  Nice idea, in theory, but zero ability to execute on the actual software development.  They don't know how to fix their own bad, broken, buggy ass mess of a game and it shows.

I had a wide open read that turned into a pick last evening from exactly this.  I'm sick of blocking seven, so I just plan to throw hot, into the pressure.  Although i crumbled against a dude sending 6 (simulating 7 pass rushers, by hovering over line) from Even 6-1 (Sam Will Blitz) last evening.  Usually that's trivial to beat, but even with seven attempts, my passes were coming out as perfect blue/green, yet still constant overthrows.

I haven't found Under Pressure (or Edge Threat Elite, which we're just now starting to see) to be particularly impactful this year.  I ran it (Under Pressure) on both my edge rushers for a while and not sure I noticed even a single instance of it causing random overthrows.  Unlike Gunslinger, which results in bad balls each and every single game.
