For his stack if you play Man 2 Man, is it better to run

Univ Coverage 3 AP, Secure Tackler - Lurker - PA for Zero 

all for 3AP 

or 

One Step Ahead 2 AP,  Short-Medium-Deep KO for 1AP and Pick Artist Zero 

all for 3 AP

i would say UC as i believe this includes one step ahead… your man KO’s only give the KO. Where as for zone KO’s, you get reaction time too. 

UC gives you KO’s and reaction which is what one step ahead is for man

Hmmm I know that outside & inside shade equals 1 step ahead but I never heard that before for Univ Coverage

Yeah Universal Coverage includes OSA. I didn’t believe it in the past so I ran a bunch of Man Coverage with it and played a bunch of H2H to test it. Sure as shit every receiver cut my defender with UC would light up.

It still got burned in man coverage by any decent player. WR abilities/certain routes will still beat man with ease no matter the DB abilities.

Yeah I ran Cover 2 in Madden 23 and it was great. this year I feel like I can’t run any man at all idk why all my corners get beat off the line the scrimmage and simple post routes separate the wr from the db by yards is this why everyone is running zone ?

Yeah, man is damn near impossible against a competent opponent.

Hell even against a 78 OVR solo battles squad on rookie I will run some man blitz to get sacks/fumbles for objectives and the 70-something WR’s & TE’s with zero abilities will get open on certain routes against my top tier DB’s.
