I get your frustration, but your frustration needs to be at EA who has fostered this gameplay (and shown it off to the masses at EVERY tournament), not the user base who a good chunk don’t know football concepts….because….again, THEY DONT HAVE TO BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A REAL FOOTBALL SIM. I've been with you about this for so long. It's all driven by EA. The idea that they could increase revenue by catering to  "gamers" who don't know and don't care about real football drives all of this nonsense for so long now. EA killed any likeness to a football sim years ago.

Instead of getting real football fans to play a football sim, and trying to introduce gamers who may not know a ton about the game to the awesome true game that football is, they chose to make it all about abilities, x factors, AI glitches, and they promote the people who utilize those glitches the best. 

I'm good with EA adding  cards from time to time like Rich Eisen or Benkert, or Terry Tate because it's fun and all but EA also has done a horrible job with the sanctity of TRUE NFL Legends.... the ones they have rights to at least.....Staubach drops and  people are like "who"? They make a Dontari Poe QB card more effective than an all time QB ... so no,  it hasn't been a Sim in forever...

And it's all based on greed. And it's finally seeming to backfire on EA ...

The guy that made this post literally asked who to put in that will better help him run a glitch blitz 😂. Ea 100% needs to fix things but again it’s hard not to blame the player base. When Ea first started putting out these super power abilities the player base as a whole could have said no thank you this isn’t what we want the game to be. But instead they spent more and more money to get those things. Ea than kept it going and now it’s the thing that they focus on because it’s what makes them money. That has a lot to do with the players and what turned the game into what it is. If Ea put those things out and lost money and sales they would fix it in seconds or they wouldn’t be able to afford the rights to the NFL

I understand what you are saying and i agree with you, but I also understand what  Lachry is saying.  The game gets so frustrating and boring this time of year, every year.  It's the same exact team, same exact scheme every game.  The only thing that changes is the GT your playing.  In a perfect world, the community would band together and say "I want to play NFL, not Blitz."  

BUT....these are gamers we are talking about.  A lot of people want to play the game the way it was intended and for entertainment.  A bunch of other people only want to play for the W/L record and the rewards.  Those type of people will do ANYTHING to get that meaningless "W" including glitching, cheating, exploiting, etc.  Look at CoD.  They don't even have rewards there and the game is just littered with cheaters, wall hacks, auto-aim, etc.  It's unplayable if you're trying to play it legit.  

Point being, a lot of people have no moral code when it comes to gaming and they will ALWAYS ruin it for everyone.  Its up to the game maker/developer to close those loopholes because children and small minded men will beat an exploit to death and tell you to "get good" while doing it.

I wish I had faith EA could and will decide to look how they approach Madden and especially UT, but they have done nothing to warrant that faith. 

My only hope is they lose their exclusivitiy (spelling), and then we could see some competition.

Trust me, I am not saying this is how I want the game to play, but it’s the way EA apparently wants the game played. 

If I was that turned off by how the game is currently constructed, I wouldn’t play it. It’s a game. It’s not a job or a chore. I’m perfectly fine with peeps voicing their frustrations, I just don’t see how all that frustration doesn’t go to the cause of the issue.  I would wager a majority of the player base only knows Madden as this.  Thinking about it in terms of actual football concepts is assanine to them as this isn’t real football.  It’s a video game set up to play this way

I paid 70 dollars also.

I can continue to play and have the opinion the loop blitz is BS and a glitch. I can counter it, but I still think it’s stupid and have a low opinion of people that run it.

Wasn’t a huge fan of people that would bunt and steal in MLB The Show back five plus years ago when it was harder to score.

That's 95% of the game base unless you're playing somebody that is clueless and you will thrash them with every play you run. Nobody is winning at a decent rate in this game, unless you are exploiting and spamming something broken. Try running regular and unique plays H2H against 95% of the game base and you are getting smoked. Saying this game is a sim game is a joke. There is 1000's of plays and tons of ways to tweak and adjust them and I have seen the same handful of stuff on both sides all year. This game used to be a blast and a unique scheme would confuse and beat good players... now it's the opposite, the same crap adjustments and schemes are unbeatable unless you do the same crap back to win. Even regs has turned into crap... there's no escape from the same repetitive scum competition in this game. I can't even play H2H anymore since around the playoffs. Anybody who isn't a pro player who enjoys H2H is batshit crazy or hopefully locked indoors with nothing better. It's ridiculous now. Sorry for the rant, I just hate what this game has evolved to in the last 10 years.

I have a low opinion of almost anyone I run into these days in head-to-head, because the rewards at present ensure the game is littered with LOSERS.

It’s possible to hate the player AND the game…

I get winning > losing, but have some integrity, ya know? I know that just not the real world though.
